You Were Selfish

You were selfish. So selfish.

I loved you when you were at your lowest. I accepted you for who you were and learnt to love every one of your flaws. But what did you do?

I gave you my heart and you shattered it into a million pieces.

You could never do what I did. You could never love and respect someone as much as I did you. You played with my feelings and broke me, you broke down every piece of me until there was nothing left. Until I couldn't cry anymore. Until I felt no emotions anymore. Until I felt numb.

You could never do the same because I wasn't enough then. I'll never be enough for you because the only person that you care about, is you.

Even after everything you've done I still want whats best for you, I'll still do what's best for you even if it's the worst possible thing imaginable for me and you know what the worst part is? It's that I'll always go back to you and I'll always want you to be happy even if it's not with me.
