I Saw It Coming

I saw it coming. In fact I saw this coming from a mile away.

I kept telling myself that I'd break it off with you tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.

This went on for too long and I got myself attached so it was impossible for me to let go of you and I was only giving you the chance to break my heart.

I hate that I saw this coming because I only wanted to be happy. But I only wanted to be happy with you.

Sometimes the feeling of being in love is so strong and deep that you get lost in it like the ocean. You fall in love with every word they say, every movement they make and every flaw that makes them, them.

When you get lost in it you soon lose track of what happens next and that only makes it harder to find your way back out again.
