~3rd Person P.O.V.~
The six all ran to the edge of the cliff, seeing the ice was breaking and soon melting. They needed to cross.
"We need to cross, now!" Peter says in fear, gripping onto Y/n's hand, that he soon realized was almost ice cold.
"Don't beavers make dams?" Lucy asks the two beavers.
"I'm not that fast, dear." Beaver says.
"Come on!" Peter pulls on Lucy and Y/n.
Susan stops them. "Wait! Will you think about this for a minute?"
"We don't really have a minute, Susan." Y/n says softly, knowing Peter would be harsh.
"I'm just trying to be realistic." Susan mumbles, glancing between the two oldest.
"No, you're trying to be smart. As usual." Peter said harshly before pulling Y/n and Lucy down the hill with him.
Susan glances between them before hearing wolves howling, making her run down with them.
They all soon make it right in front of the frozen river, that was breaking apart. Peter puts one foot on the ice, only for it to break and for Y/n to pull him back.
"Wait." Beaver spoke. "Maybe I should go first."
Peter nods in agreement. "Maybe you should."
Beaver slowly and carefully walks on the ice, moving his body around at parts that don't break.
"You've been sneaking second helpings, haven't you?" Mrs. Beaver calls to him.
He laughs, glancing back at her. "Well, you never know which meal's gonna be your last. Especially with your cooking."
The three Pevensie's, Y/n, and Mrs. Beaver start carefully walking on the ice, following Beaver. Peter gripped Y/n and Lucy's hands. When they walk on it, the ice starts to break into giant pieces, which causes Lucy to scream out slightly, jumping closer to Peter and Y/n.
"If mum knew what we were doing..." Susan trails off.
Peter turns to her. "Mum's not here."
Y/n heard ice break from above them, causing her to look up and see the Witch's wolves running along side them from above. They were caught. She nudges Peter, her eyes wide with fear. He looks at her before following her gaze, the others doing the same.
"Oh, no!"
"Run!"
As they almost make it to the other side, some wolves get in front of them, stopping them in their tracks. They slowly walk backwards, seeing more wolves on the other side. They were surrounded.
Beaver steps forward to a wolf, growling slightly, but only to get pinned to the ground by his neck, the wolf's teeth on his fur.
"No!"
"Peter!"
Peter quickly unsheathes his sword, pointing it at Maugrim, standing protectively in front of the four girls.
"Put that down, boy." Maugrim says. "Someone could get hurt."
"Don't worry about me!" Beaver cries. "Run him through!"
"Leave now while you can, and your brother leaves with you." Maugrim says before looking at Y/n, who was peaking out from behind Peter's shoulder. "We'll be taking her, though." They all look at Y/n. Peter clenches his jaw, then glaring at the wolf. "She really misses you, princess."
"Stop, Peter! Maybe we should listen to him!" Susan cries out, causing Peter to glare at her. No way was he letting Y/n go. Ever.
Maugrim chuckles. "Smart girl."
