a/n- for this chapter the time has skipped a few months to when nai is flying back to england to see, what she thinks is, wilbur tommy tubbo and jack not knowing the rest of her friends will be there. [quackity, karl, eret, niki, fundy, sapnap, dream, george]. this was written quite late at night so sorry if it's bad! the date is 17/12/2020. (or 12/17/2020 for u Americans if you're out there!) enjoy the chapter :] <3 —————————————————— the day before my flight. yeah i was closer to will, but i was still scared. New York was amazing but i do miss Brighton quite often. i don't know what the boys had planned for Christmas but at least i could see them! they're like my little family that i was glad to call home. that also goes for the rest of my friends! i got ready for bed and climes under the covers. i had to be up quite early tomorrow and it didn't help that it was now 1am. flight left at 6am so i had to be up and out of the apartment by 5 so i can catch a cab. so now sleep.
woken up by the sound of my alarm, great. it was 4am so i had gotten about 3 hours of sleep and had an hour to get ready. i picked up some casual black leggings, a grey baggie t-shirt, my yankees cap that i had picked up from the market a few months ago and one of jacks hoodies i stole from him ages ago. i did. my hair in a low ponytail and packed my phone, my chargers and laptop in my a backpack. i look at the time and its 4:54am. i should probably book a cab.
for it being 5:48am there's quite slot of people at the airport. people being collected or dropped off at the destination. let's just hope i enjoy it there.
8 hour flight. jet lag. no sign of the boys. fuck.
"hello nai." the familiar voice a blond british boy that i grew up with. i turned around and hugged him as tight as possible.
"i thought you couldn't get any taller!" "is that a compliment?" "nope, freak of nature you are." "NAILEA!" "William!" "how have you been?" "well besides you abandoning me in New York... i'm doing great. got a bit of jet lag though so that's not good" "well we're gonna head back to jacks for the night then we're going to pick up tubs tomorrow morning then we're going to an airbnb because we have a surprise for you!" "if it's to do with scaring me with something, spiders, heights or my parents. i'm getting the earliest flight possible back to NYC and i will befriend schlatt." "for the love of women, don't befriend the goat man!" "why? tommy why?" "because. he's a goat." "and you're a child." i give him a smile and he rolls his eyes at me. we collect my suitcase and walk to jacks car where he's leaning on the front of it, with his phone in hand. "Jack manifold?" "Nailea gold?" "is it actually you?" "nope i'm not even here, i'm a hallucination!" "you spend literally too many hours on tiktok." i chuckled at my own statement and wrapped my arms around his neck as he slid his arms around my waist. "are you wearing my hoodie?" "no. this is not yours. i'm not sure what you're on about." "so you're saying the red hoodie you have on now, isn't mine that you took from mine when we hung out in like march?" "nope. no clue what you're on about." "mhm" i let go of him and saw that will and tommy had put my stuff in the boot of the car (trunk for the americans) and where waiting on us.
We arrived to jacks house and i laid straight onto the couch almost falling asleep as soon as i laid my head down. that was before tommy jumped onto of me calling doggy pile, causing wilbur and jack to lay on my back aswell. "guys i'm only 18 not fucking 40 i don't need back issues yet!" they all stood up one by one and sat down next to me. i put my head on tommy's shoulder and he pushed me off because he needed a drink. so i ended up falling asleep curled up on the sofa next to jack.
