✨chapter 18✨

i stepped into the backyard in my sweats and the same hoodie from earlier. wilbur was laying there watching the clouds go by as it was only 9am.

"wilbur?" i made my way to his side and sat down next to him. "what are you doing out here?"

"clearing my head." this was the best answer i was gonna get from him.

"i wanted to talk about our argument." i laid down next to him also watching the clouds.

"ok, let's talk." he took out his headphones and waited for me to talk.

"why did you leave me alone in new york for 8 or 9 months? i don't understand, if you wanted me to get my own place we could've looked at apartments in brighton or something. why 10 hours away from my friends?" i started tearing up again.

he gave me a deep sigh. "nailea, i didn't know how to say it to your face. i didnt know how to say that i wanted my own space so i got upset and took you to new york."

"even if you struggled i wouldve tried my best for you will. you're the only family i have left and i can't lose you. but we have to grow our bond again."

"how about i take you for a day out. we can do whatever you want to for the entire day, then we can go get food. we can share things that have happened over the 8 months." he gave me a small smile through watering eyes.

i stood up and gestured for him to do the same. he stood up and i wrapped my arms around him in a hug. "how about we do that tomorrow because then i can get tubbo's presents for his birthday and the other's christmas presents."

"of course. so on the 22nd of december i can take you out for the whole day?" i unwrapped my arms from his body and nodded.

"im gonna head back in because i'm going shopping with niki, i'll see you soon though will." he nodded and sat back down with his headphones in.

i walked into the kitchen sitting down next to jack and niki. "it all went well, now come on niki we're going shopping!"

"we need to change nai" she took my hand and took me up the stairs. "matching?"

i looked at her with a smile. "DUH!" we both picked up green skirts and over sized t-shirts. we changed in our bathroom and bedroom and then brushed our hair. we grabbed a jacket each and paired our outifts with some white trainers before going downstairs.

"jack are you coming into town with us?"
"yeah. me, tommy, ranboo, and tubbo are coming with you." the other boys cane downstairs at the sound of jack and i's conversation.

"we're ready! and im gonna vlog! lets go!"

"we're gonna be in a vlog! lets go!"

the boys made us laugh as we collected our phones and other shit we needed before heading into town.

"clay?"

"yeah?"

"the minors, jack, niki and i are heading into town. if we see punz, foolish or bad i'll send you a message! see you soon!"

"have fun!" we made our way out the door but only to be met by tommy and his vlog camera.

"nai! look im vlogging!" he gave a me that smile he does when he talks about things he's passionate about.

"well done tom! well lets get going shall we?" i grabbed jacks hand and we made our way to town as tommy vlogged every little thing.
