Izuku POV:
Classes began starting back up after we were settled in and somewhat calmer after the whole villain attack and uh....Bendy and Boris's 'little act'. Explaining that to the class was without a doubt not my highlight moment. But they did at least understand that neither of us wanted it and the ink beings they saw were without a doubt not them. Right now, we're sitting in the middle of homeroom waiting for Mr. Aizawa or at least his substitute. Kinda felt bad he was on his hospital bed when he came to greet us, but also had a lot of respect for him.
The door soon opened to our teacher still covered in bandages heading towards the podium. "Good morning class."
At this moment, Tsu decided to raise her hand and ask about Mr. Aizawa's physical health. "Mr. Aizawa sir. I know you came and talked to our parents and it's great that you're up and about, but shouldn't you take it a little easier?"
"My health is irrelevant to your learning. Besides, you have a more important issue to worry about." Everyone held their breaths thinking it was something bad. "The Sports Festival is coming up in two weeks."
"YAHOO!" Bendy immediately came out to hop in the air and gain everyone's attention. "Sorry. Kinda got excited there."
"Anyway, this is an event that happens only once a year. So you all have three times in your stay at this school."
"But what about what just happened? Wouldn't this be kinda too soon?" Mineta asked not realizing in my opinion just how important the UA Sports Festival was now. "Wouldn't it be easier if we just cancel the damned thing all together?"
"Don't ya know this is the biggest thing people look forward ta every year shorty?" Bendy commented for us all to stifle a laugh a bit.
"HEY! YOU'RE NOT REALLY THAT MUCH TALLER THAN ME!"
"Cause I'm a figment of Izuku's overactive imagination. He thinks me this way. What's your excuse? Mom gave ya shorty pills or somethin growing up?"
"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Kaachan immediately started laughing at the 'shorty pills' pun for all of us to kinda give in and laugh a bit.
"ENOUGH!" Mr. Aizawa had his hair rise up for all of us to stay quiet and Bendy to sit on my lap pretending like he wasn't the cause of this. "Midoriya, can't you do something about your quirk making comments like that?"
"Sorry sir. All I can do is make a groundwork for them. If they interact like that, it's beyond my control for the most part since they're kinda sentient beings. I can ask them to avoid doing stuff like this, but I can't entirely do anything else."
"*sigh* This is why I hate dealing with tangents like this. To answer your question Mineta, this is an event that is looked forward to like the Olympics before quirks became a commodity. Canceling it because of a villain attack won't work. Also, keeping the event going is our way of saying that the situation is being handled. We're not gonna be uprooted by a bunch of rogue villains that just happened to get lucky and find a way around our security with that backdoor being shut now. However, we will be upping security this year as a precautionary. Now only pros and selected individuals from the media will be able to enter inside with a rather large security check before entering. This will help us avoid a second mistake if someone does try to do something funny during this."
'Hmm. So they're upping security as their way of saying 'we can handle this' so the parents can have a little more faith. The moving of the students to the dorms was also used as a way to keep parents at ease because of the invasion scare. To be honest, this is kinda a good idea if you look at how the world's looking at the attack right now on the country's most infamous school for heroes.'
