we were at the party, and it was jam packed. i've never been to a party this big before.

there was a lot of people i didn't know in here and there was a few here and there i knew from school.

i was looking around for the rest of our friend group and there they were

shareef, diego, seluna & mari were all sitting on the couch, all taking shots at the same time. chloe, halle and i all went up to them and sat down on the other couch.

"damn, yall couldnt wait for us?" chloe said, chuckling.

"no we couldnt, shouldve came earlier." diego said, shrugging.

mari, playfully hit him on the arm and laughed.

"bitch." halle said, rolling her eyes..

"halle, you're late to everything. im done waiting for you." diego said, flipping her off and smiling.

"are you gonna take that halle, you really gonna take that?" chloe said, egging her on and laughing.

"sleep with one eye open tonight." halle said, giving him a creepy smile.

his face went pale and he laughed nervously. one thing i've learnt is you do not mess with halle, especially when she makes promises.

"alright guys, less fighting, more alchy." seluna said, smiling widely and raising her shot glass.

"alchy?" shareef said, confused.

"... its just a thing i made up." seluna shrugged, still clearly in a good mood.

"yea, i think the alchy is getting to her brain." i said, trying to contain my laughter.

everyone laughed, making seluna press her lips together and drop her shoulders.

"whatever, yall are mean. take your first shot ladies." she said, smiling at me and the sisters.

we all took a hold of our shot glasses and drank the contents of it with no hesitation.

"eugh, yuck. this is why i dont be coming to parties." chloe said, making funny faces.

we all laughed and genuinely enjoyed each others company. of course there were fights and arguments here and there but thats just how our friendship works.

we all do love each other, and we are sort of like a family.

all of a sudden, seluna yanks my hand and takes me out to dance.

"bro what is going on with you?" i chuckled, as she started lip synching the words.

i just realised, the speaker is playing deja vu by beyoncé. our mom's are huge beyoncé fans so we basically grew up on the song.

seluna was throwing it back, only until shareef came over and stopped her.

"heyyyy, stop." she whined, pouting.

"you not about to do that bro, stop." shareef said.

i laughed at how seluna was protesting to keep dancing with me and how he was blocking her every move.

they are honestly the cutest couple i have ever seen, no disrespect to mari & diego.

"lets get some drinks!" seluna said, guiding me and shareef to this big bowl with red liquid and fruits in it.

"try it, oh my god." she poured the drink into two cups and handed it to the both of us.

"mmm!" shareef said, looking into the drink."
