Imagine #16:Jared (TW)

This is how you met Jared in Preference #10..... Takes place in 2016 Tom is 4, Shep is 3 (DON'T JUDGE ME FOR ODETTE)

It was quite in the ER. A few small emergencies. A lady got an allergic reaction to some shrimp, a guy lost a finger, but nothing too big. Then a very tall, handsome may you add, man walked in carrying a little boy. You quickly walked over to him.

"Hello sir," You greet with a smile. "I'm Nurse Y/n. How can I help you?"

"My son fell of his bike and I think he might've broken his leg," He said in a worried tone. You smiled sweetly. You motion him to follow you.

"You can set him on this bed and I'll be right back to take his vitals and then a doctor will be with you shortly," You tell him and he nods. Only then did you notice the second little boy hiding behind his legs. "Hi there. Would you like a lollipop. If its okay with your dad," you ask the little boy crouching down holding out a red lollipop when the man nodded.

"Do oo have bwue?" The boy asked. You smile and pull out a blue one.

"Of course. Blue's my favorite too," You say handing him the lolli. The boy took it and smiled.

"Tank oo," He said and you nodded before leaving.

A little while later you stood next to the doctor as he Inspected the boys, Thomas you came to find out, leg.

"We got the x ray back and it seems he has a small fracture here," The doctor pointed out making the man sigh. "He'll need a cast for 2 weeks then it should be good as new," The doctor smiled. "Nurse Y/n will take you to go get your cast then you will be free to go,"

"Thank you doc," The man, Jared, said. The doctor nodded and walked off. You looked at Thomas.

"Wanna go for a ride?" You asked. Thomas smiled and nodded. You look at Jared. "I'll take good care of him. I promise," and you were off.

You returned a little while later to see Jared arguing with a woman a lot shorter then him.

"Why was he on a bike in the first place Jared?!" The woman whisper yelled.

"He's a kid Genevieve!" He yelled quietly back. "He's a boy. Who gets dirty! You couldn't handle having two boys so you left. You were the one who filed for the divorce. Don't try making this my fault," they continued arguing. You put the bed where it was at and walked over to where Jared was arguing.

"Excuse me. Thom-" you started to say but the woman turned on you.

"We are having a conversation about our child. I'm pretty sure you have nothing important enough to interrupt us. So scurry along little girl," She growled.

"Actually ma'am," you say through gritted teeth holding down your anger. "I came to inform Mr. Padalecki that his son is back and has his new red cast on and he can leave. And next time I see you I would appreciate it if you would address me as Nurse or Ms. Y/L/N," You say and walk off.

It was the end of your shift when your best friend came running up to you.

"I heard Jared Padalecki was here," they said. You rose an eyebrow add you filled out your final chart.

"So?" You asked not amused. You smile at the person at the desk as you handed them your chart.

"He's hot and he's standing at the entrance," They said. You turned around and there he was. That's when he saw you. He smiled and walked over to you.

"Hey," He said and you smiled.

"Hi," you replied.

"I wanted to apologize how my ex-wife acted earlier," He said and you smiled.

"It's okay," you assured him. "We get a lot of co-parents and that love arguing," As you finished you saw your ex standing at the entrance. "If you'll excuse me really quick," You quickly walked over to him.

"Y/n," He said breathlessly.

"What're you doing here Weston?" You asked.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked. You sucked in a breath and looked around.

"Who told you?" You asked him.

"Why does that matter? You're pregnant with my kid and didn't tell me," He argued. You scoffed.

"I didn't tell you because you didn't listen when I said no," You said back tears coming to your eyes. His eyes widened. Anger became apparent on his face and you took a step back.

"You're a lying bitch," He growled. He started to walk towards you when a muscled wall stepped between the two of you.

"I think you need to go," The wall said. All you heard was a grumble then receding footsteps. The wall turned to you. "Are you okay?"

"I think so. Thank you Mr. Padalecki," You said looking up at him.

"Call me Jared,"
