An Awkward Encounter

I pulled my car a few blocks away since the streets were packed. I got to the entrance and could already hear the laughs of children.

I walked in and saw a huge statue golden statue of the bear mascot. I walked past it and saw all the attractions and shops they had. They had go-carts, laser tag, mini golf damn this place is way bigger than I expected.

As I was looking around I saw a girl with short brown hair with rainbow streaks wearing a T-shirt with the company's logo on it with a rainbow sweater underneath. I saw her badge said "Day-shift security". She looked so fucking cool but my head was so conflicted if I should say something or not, until I realized she looked back at me.

Fear shot through my body as she began to walk towards me. "Hey..." the girl said as she waved at me.

"I just wanted to say that uh your outfit and hair looks really nice!" "Oh thanks,"

Without thinking I blurted out "So what's your name," "My name is Vanessa, yours?" "y/n I'm not really familiar with the area since I just moved from Florida," "I see I see," she replied "So why exactly did you move here?" "Mainly to go to college for programming and more specifically VR," I can tell this started to peak her interest as she said "That's so cool I actually used to be a VR game tester!"

As we were talking we heard "Ness could you come here for a sec!" Vanessa turned around and shouted back "Ok, hold on," she quickly took a notepad out of her pocket and scribbled something down. She ripped the page off and handed it to me as she ran off towards her co-worker.
