This is gonna be a short chapter, but the next one, well, next few chapters will be at least 2,000 words or more!

Brenda's POV

Wednesday, November 12th.

I excitedly knocked on the door of Rachel, Finn, Kurt, and Blaine's apartment, and Rachel answered. Her eyes widened and she squealed, hugging me.

"Oh my god! Kurt, Finn, Blaine!" She yelled, and the three came running to the door, as if an intruder was at the door. When they realized it was us, they hugged us and Rachel led us to the living room.

"What are you guys doing here?" Kurt asked.

"Well, we just finished an interview on Good Morning America." I answered, kicking my heels off.

"And Brenda wanted to come see you guys, well, we did too, but she's the one that dragged us here." Mercedes said.

"Andddd I need to talk to you about something, Rachel." Chord said, and nudged me with his elbow. I nodded and got Mercedes attention by showing her a bunch of funny videos on my phone as Chord led Blaine, Kurt, Finn and Rachel in the hall.

Chord's POV

I shut the door of the loft and looked at them.

"Alright, I know you guys are wondering why I brought you out here."

"Well duh." Blaine said. I playfully glared at him and he laughed.

"Okay, and when I tell you, someone needs to have their hands ready to cover Kurt and Rachel's mouth. That, or just don't squeal." They looked at me, interested.

"I've been planning to propose to Mercedes for a few weeks now, and I need you guy's help when we go to Lima next week."I said really fast.

"Um, what? You're talking to fast. Did you say propose?" Kurt asked.

"I'm gonna propose to Mercedes next week." I said, slowly, and carefully this time. Rachel gasped and squealed slightly, then she hugged me so tight, she cracked my back.

"That's great Chord!"

"Yeah...Um, Rach? I can't breathe." I gasped out.

"What? Oh, sorry." She let me go and I took a deep breath.

"But yes, I'm going to propose to her. I'm not sure what day yet, because of the way I want to propose to her."

"How do you want to propose to her?"

"Well, I'm gonna need everyone's help, including the Glee club..." I told them the plan and showed them the ring.

"Wow, dude."

"It's beautiful! I know she's gonna love it."

"Yeah, Brenda helped me pick it out a few weeks ago."

"Let's go back in, they're probably wondering where we are." I nodded and opened the door. Instead of them looking at the door, they were both crying from laughing so hard.

"Whoa, what's so funny?" I asked sitting beside Mercedes and kissing her cheek.

"I-hahaha-Brenda said something, but I can't remember what it was!" She started laughing again, so did Brenda. I looked at the others who just shook their heads and started laughing with them.
