Blue purred as she worked with Y, Forest, and Cream on music. Forest's flute skills were easy to help since he worked with the three major ones. Y's bassoon was a little difficult because she played in bass clef, but she tried. Cream was more for the keyboard, but she was able to handle it. Y was getting frustrated with the work while the other two were able to handle it with ease. Silver overheard it.

"Ah! It doesn't help!"

"I know..." Blue murmured. "But I'm not good with bass clef. I sang alto and played the flute. I'm trying..." Y stayed quiet as Silver went over.

"What's going on?" Y looked down as Blue sighed.

"I'm trying to help Y with her playing, but we're in two different clefs." Silver hummed as he went to Y's side and placed his glass of water down.

"Lemme see..." He glanced at the music and hummed. "I can handle this Blue."

"Silver, I can very well-"

"Trust me." She glanced at him as he nodded. "Go relax." She smiled as she went upstairs. Two sounds followed. One from the downstairs that she expected. The other made her follow. It led to Blake's room, which shocked her. She cracked the door open and paused at the sight.

She stared at the scene as he cleaned his stuff. Why didn't he show such talents before? Then again, he's such an actor. He could fool anyone. That's probably why he avoided the question. He tapped his laptop and started another.

She stayed quiet as he tapped the keys. What was he up to? He was about to start something when he paused. Did he sense her? She quietly closed the door and slipped into her room, which was next door. He poked his head out briefly before going back and closing the door. She sighed, knowing what to say. She would target him at the source later.

She smiled at the sound that followed. Y and Silver were doing a straight runthrough of the piece. It sounded weird with a guitar, but they did it. But the best part was when they shifted pieces.

"C."

"You just played a D." He stared at the paper.

"But it's a C."

"Yes, but you played a D." His eyes didn't move as he stopped. A snicker escaped her as he looked down and played the note again.

"That... is a D..." She lost it as he paused. "I know what I'm doing."

"You... oh Arceus..." He smiled as he played the right note.

"That's a C."

"Are you sure?"

"No..." She bit her lip as he stared at the paper. "Do you think if I stare at it long enough it'll change to a D?"

"No..."

"Oh..." The other Waves were grabbing their mouths as they watched.

"Are you going to play?"

"Yes..." She snickered. "C'mon."

They were able to get sorted out as Blue confronted Blake.

"Why did you avoid the fact that you can play?"

"Huh?" He then tensed up as he realized this was. "I wasn't avoiding any-"

"You avoided a question." He froze at Silver's words.

"I..." He looked away as Blue frowned.

"I heard you playing while Silver and Y were working together." Blake let out a weak laugh.

"Uh... heh... I... don't play... you must be mistaken..." Blue crossed her arms at his attempt.

"Blake..." He lowered his head and a shaky breath escaped him.

"I don't like playing in public!" He quickly snapped as he sat down and grabbed his bag. Ruby pulled him into a gentle hug as he calmed him down.

"At least you admitted it. Shall we get to work?" He stayed quiet as Blue touched his shoulder.

"Blake... you know how I don't like too many secrets. I was just wondering." He nodded weakly as she smiled. "Let's get some work done, ok?" He nodded again, fainter than the first. She helped lay him down. "You rest. We'll talk when you're ready." He nodded as he fell asleep and they got to work.
