The quill pen in Katsuki's hand snapped, and ink dripped from it as he watched Izuku take a bouquet of flowers from a servant, with a small note saying:
I'm not used to this whole friendship thing, but I heard friends buy friends gifts. So uhhh... I guess this is my gift to you for being my friend.
It had been one week since Todoroki had met Izuku, and ever since then, he had made his visits more regular causing gossip to spread around the castle about Izuku having a possible love interest.
It wasn't every day they saw a prince talking to a mere servant, so it was hard for them to see the interaction as just friendship related.
Not to mention that over dinner, Mitsuki had mentioned how she thought Todoroki and Izuku would make a cute couple. Katsuki, who couldn't take anymore of the conversation, had pushed his plate foward, having lost his appetite and stormed out of the dining hall.
There were times when Izuku stayed cooped up in his room for hours, and Katsuki being Katsuki thought that the greenette was writing letters to Todoroki.
If only he knew that Izuku was trying to make up for the week he spent upset instead of planning his escape. He was proud of how far he had gotten.
Izuku knew how he was about friends, and rejected any possibility of starting one, but Todoroki was a prince and rejecting his request to become friends with him didn't seem like a nice thing to do to the bi-coloured haired boy.
"Where am I going to put this?"Izuku thought out loud as he set the bouquet on the floor.
"You could put it in the trash. Put it in the furnace and 'accidentally' set it ablaze. Put it in Kirishima's mouth and make sure he chews on it, swallows it, digest it and shits it out. The options are limitless."Katsuki grumbled, grabbing a tissue from the small box on his table and using it to wipe his hand.
Izuku stood upright, rolling his eyes at the prince. "I can't do that to Shoto."
Shoto. Never in his life did he think that he would despise such a name.
"Of course you can't. "he said with a roll of his eyes, as he perfectly tossed the used tissue into a bin while Izuku plucked out a white jasmine from the bouquet.
"To be honest, to me, it seems like someone's jealous of Shoto."Izuku spoke, looking up from the flower in his hand to smirk at the blond.
"Tch, in your delusional dreams, fuckface.". Could that be it? Could that be the reason that everytime Izuku mentioned Todoroki, he suddenly felt sick to his stomach?
Nah.
Izuku shrugged. "Whatever makes you sleep at night, Kacchan.". He gently tucked the flower in his hair, and smiled brightly at Katsuki."How do I look?"
Katsuki swore he felt his heart soar out of his chest. The sunlight kissed his fair skin, and his freckles seemed to stand out more with the white jasmine in his hair. The light reflected off his green irises, making them brighter and look all the more beautiful, and that breathtaking smile was just the cherry ontop to Izuku's whole appearance
In other words, he looked stunning.
"You look ugly. What was the halfie thinking when he picked white jasmine? It clashes with everything."Katsuki spoke, picking out another quill feather to finish up the letters that he was assisting Masaru to sign.
"Why did I honestly expect a compliment from you."Izuku said rolling his eyes as he walked up to the body sized mirror, not aware of the crimson eyes that followed him.
