Katsuki had the worst way of dealing with his complicated emotions. Anger is literally the only emotion he's ever felt with the occasional happiness and concern here and there. Due to anger being his constant emotion, he was rarely ever silent. He always threw temper tantrums, turned the whole castle upside down, anything at all to pacify his intense emotion.
So being quiet, isolating himself from everyone else as he became engrossed in his thoughts, was not only new to him, but strange. Any form of conversation, he tried to avoid it, even if it's with his bestfriend.
Camie was giving him the silent treatment, no surprise there. Katsuki didn't care enough to go running back to her, begging for forgiveness, not that he'd actually do that if he did care. He wasn't going to stoop himself down to that level.
Daiki, another unimportant person in Katsuki's life was still yet to forgive him, and just like Camie, he didn't care enough to go asking for forgiveness. What he did care about or more accurately 'wonder' was why after all the shit behaviour, he witnessed from Katsuki, he still decided to give him a second chance. Was it that having a few screws loose in the head runs in the family or what?
What Mistuki said to him, or more like spat at him, was.....he wouldn't say hurtful. It just tainted his pride a little and made an ugly feeling twist at his gut. But he deserved it, every last word, every last syllable. He completely deserved it. Which is why he wasn't pissed at her, though he admits, what she said affected him way more than it was supposed to, and he found himself avoiding the blonde queen be it accidentally or purposely. He really didn't know and he didn't care enough to sit on his bed and think about it all day.
Howbeit, surprisingly, his little 'conversation' with Mitsuki wasn't the only thing that resulted in his silence. As strange as it was, Camie's words attributed to it.
"You! because you're a goddamn insecure unlikable bastard! Fuck you, you piece of shit! I hope you die alone! I honestly feel bad for Queen Mitsuki who has to deal with your shitty attitude on a daily basis!"
First of all, he knew he was unlikable. He'd be a dumbass not to know that simple fact, but that wasn't what bothered him.
"You're a goddamn insecure unlikable bastard."
In what way is he insecure? He knew her head was thick but not this thick for her to reach the conclusion that he was 'insecure'?? But if he knew damn well that he wasn't insecure as she so foolishly claimed, why did he find himself going back to her words more times than one.
It didn't make sense to him.
Maybe a part of him actually agreed with her, but try as he might, he couldn't seem to find what exactly made him 'insecure'.
He sighed, pushing himself up into a sitting position and he turned his torso towards his open curtains. The first snow had fallen not too long ago, roughly two hours ago, and so outside was a blanket of white. Condensed air had settled on the pane of his window, thus it was difficult for him to get a clear view of the outside world.
Laziness won't let Katsuki walk all the way to his window and wipe at it with the back of the sleeve of his winter attire. Besides, what really was the point if it was only going to get foggy again in a matter of minutes? Katsuki wasn't a fan of snow. Not only was it too cold, the activities that he normally did to get his mind off certain things, he was unable to do them which sucked.
Katsuki fell back on his bed and let his hand fall over his eyes. He exhaled heavily.

"Excuse me, Prince Katsuki."
"Ah, I'm so sorry, Prince. I-I didn't mean to bump into you."
"Good day, my prince."
