Stefan's POV

I look at the girl standing on our porch. How in the world did she find Jayda all the way out here?

"Um, I'm Stefan. It's nice to meet you," I say in my best people voice. Avery's eyes flick back to the sleeping girl in my arms before she looks back at me.

"Likewise. So are you guys going to invite me in? Or am I just going to have to take Jayda and run?" She asks, eyeing us.

Damon walks past her and into our big house. Avery and I follow, and soon enough I'm placing Jayda on the couch, and heading to get myself a drink.

"So Avery, care to tell us what you're doing here?" Damon asks, checking her out. Even I have to admit, she is a looker. What is it with Texas girls?

"I came to pick Jay up. She's been blowing up my phone telling me she wants out of here, although I have no clue why. You two are quite the eye candy," she smirks, and pours herself a drink. I notice Damon stiffens as she said this.

"Why would she want out? She just told me today that she wanted to live here," Damon defends. Avery just shrugs and sits down on one of the chairs. She crossed her legs and glanced at us.

Oh man, I can already tell this girl is going to be trouble. She might find out what we are.

The Next Day...Jayda's Pov

I woke up to find piercing blue eyes staring at me. I closed my eyes and rolled over again, before I realized what I just saw. I jumped up and turned to face my very best friend of all time.

"Avery! What in the world?" I ask as I tackle the slim girl in a ginormous hug. She wraped her arms around me and hugged me back just as tight.

"You called, I came," she said simply as we pulled apart. I poked her face just to make sure she was real, and she slappd my hand away confirming that it was indeed her.

"I can't believe you came this fast! I thought it would take you a little while before you had it all figured out," I said as we made our way to the kitchen. It was empty. Not surprising.

"Well it was going to, but I got let off of probabtion, so I'm free to go wherever I want too," she explained with a huge grin plastered on her face.

This is amazing. Avery has been my best friend for almost 6 years now, and she is the perfect partner in crime.

"Now Jay, are you going to tell me why it is that you want out of here so bad? I mean come on, you have two super models living with you!" Avery points out with a wicked gleam in her eye.

"It's not what you think. I don't really know how to explain it. Something is really off with this town and the people in it," I mumble back, avoiding her piercing glare. I watch her as she glances around the mansion.

"Have you been exploring yet?" Avery asks out of no where. I shake my head.

"Not really. Most of the time I'm trying to get out of here," I explain with a shrug.

"Well what are we waiting for? The guys took off early this morning saying they wouldn't be back till tonight. So come on, my friend," she says in her excited voice and grabs my hand.

After exploring all of the upstairs and ground levels, I spotted a door. I waved Avery over and carefully opened the door, surprised to see a staircase going down.

"What's this?" I ask mostly myself. I find the light switch and flip it on, lighting the creepy place up a little.

We make our way down, only to see what appears to be cages and cells. What the actual fuck? I glance at Avery to see that she is just as wide eyed as I am. I carefully make my way over to one of the cells and peek through the bars. What I saw will forever be burned into my brain. I stumble back a few feet and cover my mouth with my hands.
