It had been a hardworking week for all the cadets in The Horde. Almost everyone got double shifts and some of them didn't even have a chance to sleep a wink.

Apparently Shadow Weaver had a new plan on how to destroy the resources of the princesses. Which meant that no one could cut some slack.

This week was mostly hard for Catra, her mentor had given her double the tasks. She spent the whole week carrying heavy boxes and unloading them into trucks, cleaning all the gun barrels and sweeping the floor.

'UGH! I haven't slept in 48 hours! This place is a living hell!' Catra thought as she gently packed explosives in a wooden crate. She didn't look her best, her eyes were barely open, she had dark circles around them and her body felt ready to give up at any second.

The worst thing about living in The Horde was not knowing what was out there. Thinking that The Fright Zone was the best place to live in Etheria. That train of thought scared people. Afraid of what's on the other side. She grew up learning about how evil princesses are, but to be honest, Catra never cared about them.

As long as the princesses didn't take anything from Catra, she couldn't care less.

The other upsetting thing was the fact that she didn't know where she came from. All her earliest memories were in The Horde. Growing up it upset her, but she learned to take care of herself, not letting anyone in but Adora.

Catra always had a soft spot for her and lately her feelings were getting more intense after their adventure in the storage room, although the feline wasn't able to chat with Adora that entire week.

Catra finished packing the crates and started carrying them to the trucks by the parking lot. After taking several trips until all of them were unloaded, Catra sat down on a bench nearby, trying to catch her breath.

'I swear if they don't let me sleep now, I'll pass out.' Catra rubbed her eyes with her knuckles until a terrifying voice startled her.

"What are you doing, Cadet?! Today is a very important day for our missions and you're sitting and relaxing?" Shadow Weaver approached Catra.

'Oh what the hell! Why does she always appear when I take a minute to breathe?!'

"Shadow Weaver, I've been working non-stop. I took one minute now to be able to breathe, I haven't slept in almost two days and I feel like I'm going to pass out!" Catra tried containing her tone but some of her anger was transmitted.

"Insolvent child, you don't work hard enough, I should add extra shifts to your schedule, that would maybe put you in line."

"Shadow Weaver, please, no! I promise you I've been working so hard this week."

"Clearly you haven't! You should be more like Adora, she takes things seriously around here, one day she will make a name out of herself, not like you, pitiful Catra." Shadow Weaver started floating away, before looking over her shoulder and adding a few last words. "Go to your dormitories and sleep then, you're wasting our time anyway."

Catra was left there defeated. She could feel her head aching due to her tears threatening to burst and due to her anger that controlled her mind.

Catra walked over to a nearby trash can and started kicking it, knocking it over and pouring all the contents on the floor.

"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" Catra yelled as she booted the poor innocent trash can away.

"Catra?!"

A familiar voice, clearing the clouds of anger that blurred Catra's mind. The feline didn't move around, only stared at the mess she had done. Until she felt muscular arms wrap themselves around her tiny body. That familiar scent belonged to the only person who could melt Catra's stoned heart.
