dream and nick placed the last couple of things on stage to get ready for that night.

"i'm so excited!" dream said, hooking up the last couple of cords.

"yeah, but you better not get distracted over your 'boyfriend'." nick teased.

"shut the hell up." dream laughed.

dream looked over at george and karl talking to the manager and waiting at the door. the main reason he couldn't wait for tonight was so he could hear george sing again.

"you guys about done up there?" karl asked, waving at them.

"yeah, i think so." dream said.

"we're good to go!" nick answered.

"awesome!" karl said. "are you guys ready to head back to the dorms to get ready?"

all of the boys nodded in agreement as they piled into karl's car.

-

"bye guys! see you tonight!" dream said waving goodbye at karl, george, and nick.

'okay, what should i wear?' dream thought.

dream wanted to look good, for george, and for the fact that tonight was their first show.

dream scanned his wardrobe for things, pulling out his best pieces from his closet.

he ended up with a black button up, some jeans, and his black converse.

while getting dressed he didn't button up his shirt all the way, so you could see some of his skin at the top, but not too much.

after that he threw on a chain necklace and some cologne.

'not too bad' he thought as he looked at himself in his mirror.

he started to mess with pieces of his hair when alex walked by his dorm.

"yooo you are looking good, dude!" he says with a smile on his face.

dream's face turned red and he tried to hide it.

"where are you going tonight? must be something important." alex said.

"well, it's actually me and my band's first performance!" dream said, still messing with his hair. "would you be able to come?"

"ugh, i really wish i could, but i'm meeting up with my friend tonight. i haven't seen him in ages, well, ever since i've started going to school here." alex said. "i'm really sorry."

"oh don't worry about it!" dream said, patting him on the back. "there will be plenty of more opportunities."

"alright, but text me tonight, and tell me how it goes!" alex smiled.

"no problem." dream said as alex waved goodbye and continued walking down the hall.

around that time, dream's nerves started kicking in. what if he messed up and played the wrong chord? or what if he zoned out on george? his heart started racing.

'it's okay. just calm down. it'll be okay.' he thought.

dream was still playing with his hair until he heard his phone start to vibrate on his desk.

george
can i come over to your room for a bit? i'm getting pretty nervous and i need someone to talk to.

dream's heart fluttered. it made him happy that george was the first person he contacted with stuff like that.

dream
yeah for sure :)

dream got excited that he now got to see george before the show.

'maybe it will help me not zone out on him during the show' he thought, but he was cut off by a small voice coming from his door.

"um, you have your door open so i didn't know if i should knock or not." george said with a smile.

dream smirked. he studied the small boy's appearance, he had on a crew neck with the top of a button up sticking out at the top, some jeans, and low top vans.

'he looks so adorable in that outfit' dream thought

'holy shit he looks good- no. stop. not these thoughts again. why do i keep thinking about him like that?' george pondered.

"i'm so nervous about tonight," george confesses. "what if i mess up, or forget the words or-"

"stop worrying," dream started, cutting him off. "you've been working hard the past couple of days and there is no reason to put these negative thoughts into your mind."

george smiled. dream always knew how to cheer him up. he was so thankful to have him as a friend.

"you are going to do amazing, we all are going to do amazing." dream said, putting his hand on george's thigh, without thinking.

george started blushing.

"oh uh.." dream's face grew red.

"i- i'm so sorry," dream started. "my bad uh, i- i didn't realize what i was doing and-"

"it's okay." george said, putting his hand on dream's hand, trying to comfort him.

"oh, um..." dream blushed even harder.

george giggled at dream, pulling his hand away.

'you need to think more before you do things like that.' dream thought.

-

"hey dream!" karl giggled, running up to him.

"dude you're looking fine as hell!" nick said walking up to dream and karl.

"you're so dumb." dream said with a smirk.

"you ready to head there?" nick asked.

dream noticed george on the side, and he looked very anxious. "uh, yeah, one second." dream said walking over to george.

"hey george," dream said. he could still tell he was nervous. "you okay?"

"yeah, just... nervous." george said playing with his fingers.

dream got closer to george. "you're gonna do awesome. i know you are! stop being so worried, just have fun." dream told george.

george looked up at dream, and dream about melted into his dark brown eyes. george fell into dream's arms giving him a hug.

dream held him tight, like he would've floated away if he let go. dream could smell the small boy's cologne, and he enjoyed it.

'god, i love him. i truly am in love with him.' dream thought.

karl and nick noticed the two boys, they looked at each other, then looked back at them.

"do you think they actually..... love each other?" karl whispered to nick.

"oh yeah. for sure." nick whispered back. "they will end up together one way or another."
