I'm on procreate and mainly using the airbrush and pen ink brushes. I'm sure there's similar brushes on different apps 👀 if not, improv is your best friend
⚠️First and foremost⚠️ Know where ur light source is coming from, whether from the left, right, up, down, front, behind. This tutorial will show light coming from behind!!

2) since I'm doing evening shading I went for a more dramatic orange. You can pick whatever warm color u like really
Clip it (it is called clipping mask in procreate)to ur entire color base. It looks weird but we'll fix it like, in the next step XD
