"Okay Ginny and Marcus this is your third checkup in the last five months. Today we are gonna get a ultrasound of the baby." The doctor said spreading gel over my belly as I held Marcus' hand.

"Okay there's the baby, here's the head and the feet. It looks like she has Ginnys nose and I think Marcus' lips."

We both smiled and she wiped the gel off and handed me the ultrasound pictures. We got everything together and walked out the hospital looking at the pictures.

"She's getting so big compared to our last check up."

"Sure is. I wonder how many pounds she's gonna be."

"I think the doctor will let us guess when she comes out." My car was parked beside and ally since the hospital was so packed today.

And when I was about to step into the car someone grabbed me and put a gun to my temple. My eyes widened and Marcus didn't notice until he looked over to my side and didn't see me.

He jumped out the car and saw me, "Ay man let her go she hasn't done anything!" He slowly walked over until he was in front of us.

"Why should I? You think you can come up to the ring and be the best?! It doesn't work like that!"
(It literally does lmao)
"She's pregnant! Let's work this out as men and leave her out of it!"

"I don't think that's what I want to do!" He cocked the gun back and my eyes watered.
"Calm down, Ginny. Just listen to my voice everything's gonna be okay." Marcus said aofrly to me and I stiffly nodded.

"Ginny that's your name? Well I'm sorry to say that your gonna die today." The man said and was about to pull the trigger when Marcus tackled him to the ground.

Before he could get the gun there was a pow and I looked down and saw blood leaking out of my stomach. "No!" Marcus shot the man in the head and ran over to me.

"I'm gonna get you to the hospital. Try to keep your eyes open." He looked down at me and a few tears fell on my face, he put my in the back seat and speeded to the hospital.

My eyes closed but I immediately opened them.

"Help! My girlfriend got shot!" Marcus yelled carrying me into the hospital. "Calm down sir! Is she pregnant?!"

:::

My eyes flew opened and I looked around frantically. "What the hell." I mumbled and tried to sit up but there was a pain in my stomach.

I slowly started to remember and pulled up the covers up looking at my stomach. It was a bandaged up but I didn't know if my baby was actually alive.

The door opened and in came my friends and family, Marcus and a doctor.

"Your awake, Virginia it's been awhile since I saw you but here's your checkup. You got shot in the stomach two days ago. Thankfully it missed your baby and she's fine and still healthy. In your case you have to calm down unless your be stressed and that one of the worst things for a baby. I'll leave you to talk to your family."

"How are you peach? We were all so worried." She hugged me softly and sat along with everyone else except for Marcus who just leaned on the wall and stared at me lost on thought.

"I'm fine, my stomach is just sore." They all nodded and we just had small talk for about an hour until they left.

"Marcus, you haven't said anything. Are you alright?"

He sat down and grabbed my hands, "We can't be together."

I laughed, " Nice joke. Seriously are you okay?"

"I'm serious too Ginny! We can't be together I'm to much of a danger to you."

"What the fuck are you saying?"
"I'm breaking up with you."

"No, you can't leave me because one thing happened! I'm pregnant with your baby."

"That exactly why we can't be together! That was to close of a call, you both could of died!" He stood up and I pulled his arm but he shrugged me away.

"I love you Ginny, but it's too dangerous." He left and I looked at the wall as I cried.
"He just left me." I covered my face and sobbed into my hand.

This was the worst time for this because I'm in the hospital and my baby doesn't need any stress. I tried to calm myself down by taking deep breaths and I did, but I was completely numb.

No emotions and I'm pretty sure my eyes were blank, it's happened before.
