Chapter 1- Mom?

     Prologue
     My name is Eleanor West-Allen, the second fastest woman alive. When I'm from, 30 years from now, I'm a guardian of Central City. I'm a speedster, just like my dad and sister. People call me SuperNova. Every day, I hope to live up to the legacy of The Flash...
     But I've still got a long way to go.

   Chapter 1
     Eleanor was walking through Central City. It was the year 2049, and she was headed to her job at CCPN as a journalist. She was one of the top journalists. Her current report is on Godspeed, the speedster that had attacked Stagg Industries. Godspeed was also the same speedster that put her sister in the hospital and killed her best friend, Lia.
     Godspeed was one of the first speedsters to show up in a while since the Flash vanished. Then another speedster showed up that had purple and yellow lightning.
     Eleanor walks into CCPN and heads straight to her desk. She sets her bag down and sits in her seat and begins to do some research on the internet for anything on Godspeed or the new lady speedster via her gauntlet. Everyone in 2049 has a gauntlet since about 2038?
Naomi walks up and sets a cup of Jitters coffee in front of Eleanor.
"Hey bestie." Naomi says with a smirk. Eleanor playfully rolls her eyes and sets her arm down, causing the holographic screen to vanish.
"Hey Nao. How's it going?" Eleanor asks.
"Good. Now, drink up. Today's gonna be a rough day." Naomi says with a knowing look. Eleanor always liked to push herself past her limits. Eleanor nods and picks up the drink. It was a Killer Frost, Eleanor's favorite drink from Jitters.
"You know me so well." Eleanor says and takes a drink from it before going back to her research. Naomi leaves to her own desk, which was closer to the meeting table.
When Eleanor couldn't find anything, she decided to head to The Flash Museum, which used to be STAR Labs, to do more research. As soon as she started gathering all of her belongings, Godspeed ran into CCPN. Eleanor looked up, alarmed before pulling her gun out of her gun holster, which was on her right leg and pointed it at the speedster.
Everyone in CCPN knew that Eleanor had a gun, she had a license for it from her uncle Joe, who was the Captain of the Police Department. The current captain is Darrel Frye.
"Put your hands up!" Eleanor orders the speedster. Godspeed seems to consider doing it before shooting a bolt of lightning right at Naomi. Everything goes in slow motion as Eleanor runs in front of the bolt, taking the hit for her bestie.
Eleanor heard people screaming, Naomi telling someone to call the police before everything went black.
     When Eleanor came to, Naomi was pacing back and forth in the hospital room that Eleanor was currently in.
"N-Naomi?" She asks confused. Naomi immediately turns and looks at Eleanor. A smile breaks out on her face.
"Thank god your ok! I thought you had died when GodSpeed struck you with that lightning! You kept dying, El. Your heart kept stopping, I couldn't bear the thought of losing my best friend!" Naomi exclaims, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Eleanor grabbed Naomi's hand and pulled her in for a much needed hug. Naomi immediately hugged back, crying softly into her best friends shoulder.
     "It's alright, I'm here now." Eleanor said, trying to comfort her friend. When Naomi finally stopped crying, Iris practically ran into the room.
     "Are you ok? I got here as fast as I could when Naomi called." Iris said, checking to make sure that her daughter was fine.
"I'm fine mom. Just feeling a little- wait. I actually feel fine. I literally feel electricity running through my veins." I say confused. I notice my mom tense up when I said that. "Mom?" I ask confused.
