➭ Book 2, Chapter 3: The Sports Festival has begun

"The Sports Festival is about to start."

The Sports Festival. The biggest Festival in the whole world was about to begin and I, Kenzui Iwasaki was going to participate.

After the two endless weeks of training, the day finally came. The day that I was going to show who I am. Who Airi is and, who everyone is, of course.

That day, everyone was my enemy. Even Airi. We couldn't team up or anything. We just had to win. Although we already knew who was supposed to win. "Supposed", yeah.

[Present Day]

*buzz*

[Kenzui]: Huh? What day is it-- Oh my God.

[Kenzui]: NO WAY.

"Thank God it's early! Wait, did Airi woke up?"

I am jumping out of bed immediately, open the curtains and run towards Airi's room without caring if I making noise. I stepped outside her room door and opened it.

[Kenzui]: Is she seriously snoring?

Why me? I have no choice but to wake her up though.

[Kenzui]: Hmm...

*puts loud music from phone*

[Airi]: ARGHHH! WHAT THE HELL?!

[Kenzui]: Wakey wakey bitch.

[Airi]: Why are you so energized huh?
AND WHY DID YOU WAKE ME UP AT 6AM? She said while checking her phone.

[Kenzui]: It's the Sports Festival toda-

[Airi]: WAIT SERIOUSLY??? I AM GLAD YOU WOKE ME UP I- I HAVEN'T SET AN ALARM AT ALL!

[Kenzui]: To be honest, I haven't set any alarms too.

[Airi]: And how did you get up?

[Kenzui]: My phone started buzzing and that woke me up. Then I saw the notification that I put on today to remind myself about the Sports Festival.

[Airi]: I see. We're lucky.

[Kenzui]: I know!

Airi got up and we made breakfast while chilling on the couch. Afterwards, we did some meditation to cure our stress and dressed with our uniforms.

[Airi]: You ready?

[Kenzui]: Yeah! Let me grab my shoes from the drawer! I said while running towards my bedroom

I closed the room door and immediately put my shoes on.

I was so excited for that day! My palms were shaking and I had already sweat in my t-shirt because of stress but, still, it was the best feeling ever participating on the Sports Festival.

I got my backpack and Airi unlocked the door while I waited behind her so she could open it. When I heard the characteristic sound from the opening of the door I pushed her and run down the stairs.

Airi's POV

Kenzui can be really annoying sometimes- She literally acts like a child. It feels like I am the mom of an ungrateful child and I am also getting IT to the toys store to buy the newest barbie doll that had just came out.

'S'pain, but remove the 'S'

But not just any pain, KENZUI'S-BEING-A-CHILD-PAIN.

I was sure that Kenzui was excited for the Sports Festival. That's why she acted like that. She also went to sleep early last night so she has a lot of energy.

Although I don't.

I haven't slept much last night because I was reading romance fanfictions-- Yeah, ROMANCE FANFICTIONS.

I slept like nine and half hours, but that's still not enough sleep. Kenzui slept 11 hours which is CRAZY. I am not judging her though, she had training yesterday and when she got home she was hella exhausted.

[Kenzui]: Heyy! Earth to Airi! Airi! AIRI! AIRIIII!

[Airi]: *gasp* Huh?

[Kenzui]: Don't tell me you're gonna start overthinking RIGHT NOW?

[Airi]: When did I already got downstairs?

[Kenzui]: Seriously? Come on! Let's go; we are going to miss the bus!
