What is that sound?

God, it was getting on your nerves. You wanted to continue sleeping but the beeping sound became louder. You squeezed your eyes shut, wanting to sleep further. But then you heard some people talking. Your body relaxed and you no longer squeezed your eyes shut. Slowly opening your eyes, revealed you to a white room. Your sight was first blurry but as the beeping and talking became more louder, became your sight normal again.

"(y/n)! Are you okay?"

You looked over at the woman and realized it was you aunt. She sat on a chair next to your bed holding your hand tightly.

You groaned and tried sitting up a little.

"D-don't push yourself, (y/n)!"

"(aunt name) I'm fine. Really." You said, giving her a forced smile.

"O-okay then. But, I have to go. Some officers want to interrogate me about your father.

You just nodded and looked down. Your aunt smiled a little and rubbed over your arm. Then, she stood up and leaves the room.

-Time skip-

You stared out of the window. You almost fell asleep when suddenly someone knocks on the door.

You turned your head. You hoped that it was your bestfriend or something but you got the opposite.

The man in your room was no one else than, Mephisto Pheles.

"(y/n), I have heard everything. I feel sorry for you. But, how are you? Are you feeling better?" He said, smiling.

You ignored him, and looked out of the window. The last thing you wanted to do was to talk with a crazy clown. What was the point of even doing that?

"You better not ignore me (y/n). Not if you want to save Rin."

Your eyes widened and turned your head back to him.

"Save...him?" You said, almost not audible.

"That's right, there is a possibility that you can save him" He said, grinning from ear to ear.

"But how? He's dead isn't he?"

"He's a demon (y/n), the son of satan, his body may be in assiah but he has the blood of the god of Gehenna. And that means..." He trailed off, looking me straight in the eye hoping that I would understand it.

"He's still alive, But then in Gehenna...?"

"Yes!"

Your eyes widened in excitement. You will be seeing him again. But how? It was the demon world how the hell could you get there?

"But how can I even get there?" You asked, still seeing that devious grin plastered on his face.

"Through the Gehenna Gate, of course." His eyes narrowing a little.

You clutched the white sheets and stared at him, "Gehenna...Gate?"

"Yes, I can make one and once you go through it, you're in Gehenna. It's as easy as that!"

You hung your head staring at the white sheets. You didn't believe it. Rin had always told you to not go in the Gehenna Gate even when your forced to do it. But now you don't even know what to do, you wanted to save Rin but what if it wasn't true what Mephisto said? Then you would become a prisoner of satan and torture you or even kill you. You didn't want that.

You looked back up, "And when I go through the gate, then what? Am I going to face millions of demons and I'm going to die?"

"Of course not. Gehenna is a dark place, none of the demons there can withstand sunlight. I will give you something to protect you from them."

"And when I find Rin. What's going to happen next? Can we get out of gehenna and come back here?"

His grin widened, "When you find Rin, is the biggest opportunity that you will die."

You freeze, sweat dripping down as you clutched the sheets harder.

"What do you mean I'm gonna die? If I find Rin then the two of us will go find a solution to go back."

He chuckled softly, "I don't think it's going to be that easy."

"Why?"

 "In Gehenna demons are more aggressive, they have more power there and sometimes their mind can go to insanity when they have spent to much time in Assiah. Rin has spent more than 15 years in assiah. I doubt that he will recognize you and help you. Once he sees you, he could kill you without hesitant."

Your hope sank more and more with every word he said. You wanted to scream, saying that rin would never do that. but that would be pointless. With widened eyes you stared at him in disbelief.

"So, what's your choice? Do you want to go?"

You opened your mouth but quickly shut it.

Damn it! What should I do?!

Everything is so fucked up. First your father kills rin, then he kills himself and now the crazy clown is saying that I can save Rin but on the other side he can kill you!

You sat there. Taking everything in what he said. Then looking at your hands you realized that you were shaking and sweat still dripped down.

"(y/n), make your choice."

Tch. So what if Rin is going to kill me. At least... at least I will see him again! And maybe he would even recognize me! A sad smile formed on my lips. I made my decision, and I was sure of it.

Looking up, your (e/c) orbs meet his green ones.

"I'm going to Gehenna." You said, almost shouting. You could feel that your body was on fire. You were going to save rin and nothing was going to stop you!

Mephisto was grinning from ear to ear, "As you wish my dear."
