"It's okay."

My voice cracks and a tear falls along my cheek. Rin looks confused for a second. His eyes become wider and he freezes, his sword didn't go any further trough your clothes.

The crowd is silent and Satan becomes impatient. He stands and screams, 'Rin! What are you doing?!' Kill her, this instant!'

Rin's eyes begins to water.

'I can't.'

'What?' 'What did you just say?' Satan is peeved.

He balls his fist and throws his sword away. He looks at me, tears falling endlessly.

'Y-Y/N.' 'I'm sorry.' I'm so sorry.'

His body shakes and he falls on his knees.

Satan was certainly not pleased with this and his flames appears, 'You can't kill her? Then I will do it myself.'

Satan appears in no time besides Rin. 'Pathetic.' He says and gives him a fierce blow to his head with his foot.

I gasp and call out his name, he only groans. Satan picks up the sword and walks towards me. His hand lifts my chin up. He looks at me up close and grins.

Then, he takes a step back and looks at me, his face and voice is just spine-chilling.

He raises his hand with the sword slowly and while he did this he says, 'Ready for your death?'

I watch as the blade came closer to me and close my eyes tightly. The stinging pain never came though.

I open my eyes and I see Satan shocked.

The smell of blood fills my nose, but it's not my blood: it's Rin.

I look down and see Rin, holding me. My mouth becomes dry and it's suddenly hard to breathe.

'Tsch, stupid boy.' Satan turns around and directs his focus on the crowd. 'He's done for. You can the kill the girl. My work here is done.'

The crowd becomes wild and start to come down.

I try to get my hands free out of the rope which doesn't work. I hear Rin's breathing becoming rigged. His skin becomes too pale and he's losing blood quickly.

Rin stands up straight, his hands are on my shoulders. 'Y/N, i'm so sorry I couldn't recognize you. This wouldn't happened if I didn't meddle with you and your dad. It's all my fault.'

His knees begin shaking and he coughs up blood. I shook my head, 'No,  it isn't your fault. It's nobody's fault. We just have to get out of here and you can do that right?'

Rin shakes his, 'It isn't simple as that, and, now that I haven't got many strength left, I can't go with you.'

My breath caught in my throat, 'W-What..? I can't leave without you! I-'

'Here,' Rin interrupts me. He holds up a small black diamond, 'with this you can go back.'

I look in disbelief at him, 'What about you? Should I just leave you behind here? Are you crazy?!'

Rin sighs and looked behind him, seeing the demons coming closer. 'Y/N, please just leave me behind, Satan would never let me die off like this, believe me. I promise I will find a way to come back. Just please, this time, do what I say.'

His runs a hand trough my hair and rests it on my cheek, a little smile appears on his face as he gives me a weak kiss on my forehead. I still couldn't conceive it and tears began to steadily streaming down my face, clouding my vision.

'No, no! I don't want to leave you behind! Please!'

'Y/N,' he looks at me, his eyes becoming more and more dull, 'Remember that I love you...okay?'

Rin pushes the little diamond against me and said something in a other language. I see some light appear and I realize that this may be the last time I would see him. I look at his face again, and he looks at me.

His face is full of regret, I open my mouth but it was to late. Before I knew I am back in my bedroom and fall to my knees.

I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think, I only cried.
