(Rin's POV)

'Why couldn't I recognize her?' I wonder standing in front of the mirror in my room. I examine my wounds from yesterdag night; even though I became stronger, my regeneration is not really helping at the moment.

"You're wondering why you coudn't recognize her?" Startled by the voice, I turn and see Satan in the door opening. "I tought you were smarter."  I merely glare for a second at Satan and put my shirt back on. "Well? Still don't know the answer?" I huff in frustation, 'No I don't know, but I guess it is your doing. Why else do I look like this and forgot (Y/N)?" 

"You lost control when you died in Assiah. You're half demon, half human. You were born in Assiah meaning you have created a body, a vessel. You do know that we, full demons, have to posess a vessel in order to be in Assiah. But you came to Gehenna in a human form, there is no way you can become like Astaroth, a haired demon with hooves. The only thing that changes about you are the additional demon traits like horns and sharper teeth. The reason why you forgot (Y/N): you have lived for 18 years in Assiah, when you came to Gehenna your mind get distorted, it's like you were reborn into a new full demon. You could have lost al of your memories but I guess the bond between you two was too strong." 

"Yay me." 

Satan became irritated and turns away. "Follow me." I don't want to follow him, I want to find a way to get out of Gehenna and find (Y/N). But on the other hand, I was curious: what did Satan mean that I would be send back to Assiah and he also said that only I am capable of doing it. But what is it?

Satan stops and a large door suddenly opens, revealing a large, macabre gateway: the Gehenna Gate.

"Satan, what are you planning to do?"

(Y/N POV)

"I still don't know why I should trust you." I say with crossed arms. "Satan said that it was YOUR plan." "Sweetheart, it was indeed MY plan to send you to Gehenna but it failed, so Satan doesn't need me anymore as MY plan failed. If he doesn't need me anymore then he will not be busy by keeping an eye on me." "And how would you know that for sure?" "Demons sense each other, sweetheart." "Stop calling me sweatheart." Mephisto chortles. "Also I am no longer of any value or help to Satan, because Rin and he are the only ones who can do it." "Can do what?" "Oh sweetheart, did satan really tell you nothing? What a shame." 

Mephisto brings me back to his office. I'm getting cross; Mephisto is not telling me everything! He's only making me question everything even more. I didn't understand anything anymore. Mephisto lets himself fall in his chair and looks out of the window causing silence. After seconds i was getting really angry, "Are you finally going to tell me something, explain something, tell me what your plan is?!" He spins his chair and locks his eyes with mine sternly. "Let me just help you, but let me think. We don't know Satan's moves and motives as he is in Gehenna and no, I can't just spy on him." "But be assured I will help you."

"There's no way that you're willingly going to help me, what do you want in return?" "Hmmm...", he smiles cunningly his eyes turning more demonlike, 'I want the Kurikara." I gasp, " but that is not possible! It's like his demon heart! What do you plan to do with it?" "My plan?" , his smile disappeared and he stood up slowy approaching me, "that's not the most important thing right now, what's important now is the plan of Satan."

"What is the plan of Satan?"
