I walked into my music class, sixth period is one of the few classes I have with Louis. But I also have it with Zayn, Harry, and liam. I walked to my seat in the back and shot a smile to Louis as I got my notebook out. Our teacher, Miss. Landon, was only 23 and she was an amazing singer and musician. I guess thats why she works here at Treble with the advanced music classes.
She walked to the front of the room and smiled, "okay you guys, today we'll be doing something a bit different. I want you to do a duet with one other person in this class. The best partnership will win a prize." Me and Lou looked excitedly at eachother "I will be picking your partners, and you must preform them in front of the class." My face fell, I cant do this. Maybe she'll go easy on me and pair me with Louis. she looked at a list and started to ramble off names she got to mine and said "Niall, you'll be working with Zayn" I looked at Louis and he grabbed my hand appologetically. So instead of winning, I'll be insulted this whole time. Perfect. Louis ended up paired with harry, who he glared at with pure hatred and Liam got paired up with some girl. "Now, get together with your partner and start working on your songs." Zayn got up and slouched down in the seat beside Niall.
"Hey, so what are we gonna do?" He looked at me and I just shrugged at him "Look Niall, I know things havent been the best between us but how about we start over? I want to win this thing. With my voice we have a pretty good shot but ive never even heard you sing."
I looked at him in surprised "You actually know my name?" he laughed at me and I blushed
"Of course I know your name." He smiled at me and I felt a flutter in my stomach. What the fuck, I dont have feelings for Zayn. Him and his friends have been bullying me for months, besides, he's not gay.
"Oh, well I just thought you thought it was faggot or punk or cock breath or lady boy or Blondie or--" Zayn cut me off with a pained look on his face.
"Look, im so sorry about everything. I've been a jackass to you and you didnt deserve it and I understand if you dont want to forgive me but I am truly sorry" Zayn said all in one breath, Niall looked for any sign that Zayn was lying before he said anything.
"Look, you're right. You've been a complete jerk. But i'll give you a chance to prove you've changed. Throught this project." Zayn grinned at him and he couldnt help but smile. Zayn is cute, even if I have no chance with him maybe things will get better.
The two boys quickly chose their song although Niall still wouldnt sing because he was afraid someone other than Zayn would hear it. "Look, how about you ride home with me after school, we'll work on this and no one wil be able to hear you. Not to mention i'll be able to prove how sorry I really am." I looked over at Louis who was obviously arguing with harry. "He can come too if you want." I just looked at him and raised an eyebrow before texting Louis Holy crap lou, he appologized for everything and now he wants us to ride over to his place with him. It doesnt even seem like one of his stupid tricks.
I saw Louis head shoot up and look at me raising an eyebrow then looked down to quickly shoot a text back to me I dont trust them but you need to sing this. Show them why you're here so i'll go with you. I smiled at him and gave Zayn two thumbs up just as the bell rang.
