Chapter 25- Suspicions

The weekend has now approached and Cheryl was staying at Toni's this weekend. They haven't had a weekend togetehr since everything happened, so this was to be a good, fun weekend. Cheryl woke up before Toni, but she decided to stay in her position so Toni wouldn't wake up.

Toni's phone kept going off and Cheryl didn't know whether to be worried or not. She picked Toni's phone up when she saw a call from 'Her 🤪😏😝'. Cheryl looked at a sleeping Toni and sighed. She looked through her contacts and saw her name which was 'My Baby❤🥺😏'. Cheryl didn't know what to think. She put her phone back and laid down.

About 15 minutes later, Toni woke up and looked up at Cheryl who was in her phone. Toni smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Good morning, babe." Toni said sleepily as Cheryl looked at her.

"Good morning, Toni." Cheryl said as Toni got out of bed. She did her business and came back into the room. She sat next to Cheryl and grabbed her phone. She saw her cousin called and texted her, so she called her back.

(Toni reg, Mercedes -her cousin- in bold)

"Wassuppp."

"Nothin. Just chillin. Why you ain't answer?"

"I was dead tired from yesterday, so I was sleep. You cool?"

"Yeah. I just wanted to see what you was doing... and how you was doing."

"Oh, well, I'm doing okay. Umm, life's throwing it's obstacles at me... as always. As I said before, I'm just really waking up."

"That's good. If you need anything call me, okay?"

"Yup."

"You witcha girl?"

"Yeah."

"Y'all been doing good."

"Umm, I'll just say we're still together. It's been rocky, but everything's good now... hopefully."

"That don't sound good."

"Trust me, I didn't think it would work, but it did. I didn't even know if it was worth her time. I was just ready to run away."

"What got in the middle of y'all's relationship? Y'all seemed like y'all was doing good."

"Well, I'm the one that got in the middle. I didn't want to. Hell, I didn't even realize. It hurt, not gonn lie, but I guess it's okay now."

"Y'all gotta get back together together. I miss you smiling on ya story 24 fucking 7."

"Hopefully it happens soon. I hate breaking hearts and getting mines broken."

"I felt you on that one."

"Where that girl at?"

"You gotta stop talking about her like that. But she sitting right here, looking at me like a fucking weirdo."

"I mean, she is a weirdo, tho. Anyways, how she been? I haven't seen her in like ages."

"She's been doing what she always does; getting on my nerves."

"Toni, I do not, she's lying."

"No, I believe her. You do be a lil annoying. No, I'm just playin I'm just playin."

"Y'all dead fucking wrong. Dumbasses."

"She maddddd. Hahahahaha."

"Onto the silent treatment I go."
