Chapter 30- Rekindling

4 Years Later...

Cheryl and Toni made their relationship work, despite the distance. They made their bond stronger than it ever was. Honestly, they feel that it was nothing exciting as the college life. The only hype was that you can make out with any and everyone, teachers included, and not get in trouble, due to secrecy.

Cheryl went to school for business, Toni going for the same thing and had a minor in photography. Their lives in general was swell. They had their loves, they had their education, and they were happy as a whole. The two also owned their own house together, that being the house they would live in until further notice.

Toni and Cheryl were laying in bed, watching TV as Cheryl laid on Toni's chest and Toni running her fingers through Cheryl's copper hair. For the longest, Toni's been thinking about how she would as Cheryl to be her girlfriend again. Now, don't get her wrong, her and Cheryl were still a couple, but she wanted to rekindle what they had again, so asking her to be her girlfriend was a way of doing that.

"Baby," Toni said, getting a hum from the redhead.

"Yeah, babe?" Cheryl responded.

"Can you be my girlfriend?" Toni asked. Cheryl looked up at her and gave her a look.

"Why are you asking me to be your girlfriend? Again?" Cheryl asked, leaning her head on Toni's ribs.

"I wanted to rekindle us in some type of way," Toni said, looking at Cheryl lovingly.

"Well, then yes. I will be your girlfriend," Cheryl said with a smile. She gave Toni a kiss and it started to get a bit heated until Cheryl stopped it. "Yeah, no. I'm tired," Cheryl said, laying back on Toni. Toni playfully rolled her eyes and laid her head back down.

The couple was eating dinner when Toni smiled. Cheryl raised a brow and shook her head, knowing that Toni was about to ask a question. Toni put her fork down and folded her hands on the table.

"So, I was thinking, since it's... spring, we should go to the carnival. So celebrate us being girlfriends," Toni proposed. Cheryl put her fork down and looked at Toni.

"Something's telling me you planned a whole shindig, so yes." Cheryl said picking her fork up.

"But, there's a twist," Toni said, catching Cheryl's attention.

"And that would be?" Cheryl asked, intrigued on what Toni could possibly be thinking.

"You have to wear a suit," Toni said. Cheryl shook her head laughing.

"Yeah, absolutely not. Those things are extremely hot," Cheryl said, making Toni raise a brow.

"If I'm not mistaken, are you saying that you've worn a suit?" Toni asked, making Cheryl shake her head, with a smile on her face.

"Maybe once or twice," Cheryl said. Toni looked at her with a shocked face.

"And why haven't I seen any pictures?" Toni asked, pushing her plate tothe side. Cheryl rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone. She showed Toni the pictures and was absolutely blown away.

"You have to become daddy Cher for me," Toni said. Cheryl rolled her eyes as she out her phone away.

"That was literally my name for the entire week," Cheryl said. Toni giggled and grabbed Cheryl's hands.

"I think I should special treatment," Toni said, biting her bottom lip.

"And why's that?" Cheryl asked, making Toni smiled.
