Morning was approaching quickly as killua blankly stared out the large window of his bedroom. The view beyond the window was a beautiful part of the city, Midgar, that lit up before him. The sky was still dark but the city was never asleep just like him. Killua would be awake for hours waiting for the next order to be given. Being a cyborg he felt no need for sleep or rest. As he got off the bed, he decided it was an appropriate time to get ready for the day and began to get dress. As soon as he was ready, he headed down the stairs to meet up with his so called "family". They were a high class family of cyborg assassins known as the Zoldycks. The assassin business generates a lot of wealth for the Zoldycks. They lived in the classiest and largest house in the city. Only the beautiful areas of the city could be seen from the zoldycks window. As he entered the living room he saw almost everyone there sitting neatly on the couches. The way they glared at him when he walked in it was almost like they were waiting for him. Killua takes a seat next to his mother. " Killua, we have something to discuss with you." Explained his mother. His mother gestured toward Illumi, his brother, for him to takeover the conversion. "Brother since you are now of age 18, we are now leveling up your training and orders." Illumi said. Killua felt something at the pit of his stomach but ignored it. "Okay brother, when will my next order be then?" "Actually, there will be a mission tonight since you proved your skills to be valuable." Said illumi. Killua gets up out of his seat. The feeling in his stomach grows as illumi proceeds to tell him more about the mission. What's wrong with me. While simultaneously listening to his so called brother, he was running through his brain what could be wrong with his body. Was there something wrong with my interior? Do I need some sort of reboot? Am I just imagining this? Just then he noticed Illumi trying to grab his attention. "Brother, did you understand what I said? It's important that this human male and his family is taken down immediately. Do you understand?" Snapping out of his daze quickly killua spoke up " Yes I understand brother. It's important that he and his family are eliminated immediately." Killua said in a monotone voice. Illumi continued to speak now knowing that his brother understands the circumstances. "We will go through some training to make sure you are prepared for the night." Illumi sat killua down and made sure he was properly rebooted. Once done, the blue triangle shined brightly on his forearm leading up to the electric blue lights on his face. Energy course through his veins making him feel, in a way, very neutral. Immediately, the feeling in his stomach vanish leaving his body with emptiness and clarity. "We will begin with the easiest, strengthening your immunity and then moving on to the obstacles." Without a word killua nodded and with straightforward look, waited for the first immunity test to begin. These test covered immunity towards things like poisons and other things that could be harmful to the body as a whole. Illumi also covered immunity towards feelings so that no mission would be a mistake. As they moved on to the obstacles Killua had to do plenty of target practice. If he were to miss, the more human parts of his body would suffer causing discomfort. After several examinations the family agreed to level him up fully in order to become a more professional assassin within the family. Time ticked and ticked away until his next assassination was scheduled to begin.
