Chapter 7

An alarm was going off within Killua's head causing him to wake up. He looked around and noticed that he fell sleep in the bed with Gon last night. Memories of last night came rushing through of how Gon was good to him even though he almost took his life. He took a moment to look at the black haired human sleeping peacefully next to him. The alarm got louder and louder until he answered the call from his brother. "Brother where are you? Is the mission done? If so come back immediately." Fear over took his body and he started to have a panic attack. He quickly pulled himself together to answer. "Brother the signal has been terrible in the slums. The mission should be done tomorrow. I will return soon." Killua started going though how he could protect Gon from everything. "Okay. Don't take too long. Your family and the government is counting on you." With that the call ended leaving Killua to shake in fear. Gon began to stir letting the cyborg know he was about to wake up. He pulled his self together and watch Gon slowly open his eyes. Hazel brown eyes stared at Killua making him speechless. Gon smiled softly once he was able to clearly make out the picture of this beautiful cyborg in front of him. Gon noticed his cheeks turn red near the blue lights. "Good morning Killua!" "Good morning Gon." The cyborg was lost in Gon making him forget about his worries. "Did you sleep well?" Gon ask. Killua forgot, he never sleeps ever and just last night he had his first sleep in who knows how long. "Uh.. yeah it was good" Killua felt almost rebooted for the day but still allowed to have his feelings unlike when illumi would reboot him. "Great! I was thinking, what would you like to do today? I could show you around town? I could-" "Gon" He shook his head when he remembered his initial fear that's started the morning. Gon looked deeply into his blue eyes waiting for his answer. "I need to hide you quick. I only have a day" Gon backed into the wall. "W-what?! What are you talking about?" Killua looked down on the bed, hands fidgeting nervously with the sheets. "Well, you know how you were my target?" Gon nodded. "If I don't kill you they will, so I told my brother I will finish in a day. So I only have a day to hide you." Gon frowned "But this is my home. And me and my Aunt Mito were waiting for my dad to come home." "I'm sorry Gon we have to go today. We could maybe hide your Aunt Mito here, but you are not an exception. They will try and hunt you down." Gon scooted closer to Killua "Okay. My aunt can hide with Mr. Leorio and wait for my dad. I'll come with you." Killua gave Gon a small apologetic smile. "I'll be taking you to section 7. It's a highly populated area in middle class. I'm not allowed to go pass there and I want to check on you." Killua said. "Section 7?! Killua I don't have the money for that. Incase you don't know I am in no section right now. I use all my money from inventions I sold for food." "Gon I'm gonna pay for it. I have plenty of money being an assassin." "Killua you don't have to do that." Said Gon shyly. "I want to okay Gon? Just promise you'll stay in hidden no matter what?" "I promise Killua." Killua got out of bed while Gon sat there looking at him. " Gon... Gon!" Gon snapped out of his daze. "Oh Sorry! I should probably start to pack then." He looked at the hoodie on the bed he gave his friend last night. "Here, just incase you need to cover up. I'm sure you got some weird stares coming here and you don't want your brother to know what's really going on if you get caught on camera." He threw it at Killua and he caught it with his fast reflexes. Gon started to pack as much as he could in his backpack without making it too heavy to travel. Killua put the jacket it on and they walked out of Gon's room. Gon informed Aunt Mito on the whole situation vaguely. At first she was horrified. "You are going where?! What's going on?" She screamed. Gon made sure she knew he was going to be safe with his friend and she would be safe with Leorio. Gon walked with Aunt Mito to Leorio's house and Gon also gave him the device he was waiting for. "I understand! She is more than welcome to stay at my place and wait for Ging. And thank you for keeping your promise and fixing it! See you later Gon." Gon turned to Aunt Mito. "Promise we will both be safe. Seal it with a kiss?" Aunt Mito smiled at Gon and held out her hand to do the pink promise. "I love you Gon, be careful." "I will Mito! Love you." He said with as much optimism as possible. Gon started walking back to the house to grab his bag and meet up with Killua. He gave him a small smile. "You ready Killua?" Killua smiled back. "Of course I am you idiot. I've been waiting for you." Gon laughed at Killua and grabbed his hand. "Let's go!"
