Prologue

Down, down, down I fell, down into the depth of the salty sea, the waves swallowing me up as I sank to the seafloor. The salt stung my eyes; my lungs screamed for air. I spotted the others, sinking; Ignus' flame extinguished by the breath of the sea and Emma's hair floating in the water. Alyxious' tried to swim over but was too weak.
