Davina's pov
Sometimes I really hate this job. We had just got back to the BAU after a rough case that ended with the unsub and the victim didn't make it. The plane ride was quiet as always, but this time I could feel the tension. I knew what it was like for a mission to not end the way you wanted, the images replay in your head of what happened and millions of 'what if's' course through your mind.
Everyone goes their separate ways to their workspaces to finish up the paperwork we all started on the plane. The air was still stiff as we worked for about an hour until Rossi came out of his office with a briefcase in hand looking at each of us fill out the sheets of paperwork.
"Alright, that's enough for the night. Let's all go unwind at the bar, I'm buying.' He smiled and started walking towards Hotchner's office door before stopping in front of it and knocking "Aaron come on, the teams done for the day and drinks are on me."
Morgan and Prentiss hastily started putting their things in their bags while Reid just put his coat and bag on, already having finished his paperwork and packing up 20 minutes ago. I sign my last sheet and start packing up as well.
Now usually I wouldn't go out with my co-workers but since Rossi said he was buying I couldn't turn it down.
"We can finish this up later. I think we all deserve a drink after that case." Hotchner agreed with Rossi.
We all started packing up our things getting ready to head to the bar but then I realize that I took my car today and if I drive to the bar then I can't drink too much, and I for damn sure need a couple after that case.
"Hey Morgan, could you give me a ride home after the bar I want to have a couple of drinks so I won't be able to drive. I'll give you gas money." I ask giving him my best puppy dog eyes that I knew he couldn't say no to.
"Sure Kasey no problem, and I don't need you to pay for gas. It's what friends do." He smirks
I shoot him a small smile back and throw my keys in my bag as we all start heading to the elevator down to the parking garage.
"So Rossi, what bar are we headed to? Because I need to be able to dance with my chocolate thunder" Garcia winks in Morgan's direction and he lets out a small laugh before blowing her a kiss only for her to pretend she caught it and pressed it to her cheek.
"Oh don't worry Penelope there will be a dance floor with your name on it." Rossi chuckles and turns to head to his car.
"Don't tease me Rossi." Penelope yells in his direction and Rossi stops and turns back to face everyone.
"It's called Hal's bar on 32nd street, see you all in 15 minutes." He says and turns back around to where his car is parked.
Hotchner heads to his car, while Prentiss, JJ, and Garcia head to one car while Reid heads to his own. I follow Morgan to his SUV and hop in the passenger seat. The ride to the bar was filled with small talk which usually I despise but with Morgan it seems to come easily. When we weren't talking I could hear him humming the songs on the radio playing, knowing damn sure he wishes he could break out and sing.
Once we arrive we park and head into the bar to see if any of the team members have gotten here yet. Upon entering the bar me and Morgan search through the crowds of people, It's not until I point out a tall dark brown-haired man. I tug on Morgan's arm to let him know to follow me towards the rest of the team.
"Great now that everyone's here let's get some drinks, what are you all ordering?" Rossi asks everyone ready to go and get the drinks.
While Rossi is gone ordering our drinks the team keeps a small talk going, mostly about how JJ's family is, how Jack is and how Reid's mother is. I haven't heard too much about her but I know he goes to visit her in Vegas at least once a month.
