"Where are you?"

Jianna paced back and forth in the living room thinking why Cody haven't been home for days.

She tried to call him numerous times but no one answered and she's getting so worried now. She calmed herself and tried to think that he just went to an emergency business trip.

"I should call Naomi."

Naomi is her husband's officemate that is also her friend since college.

"Hey Anna! How's it going?"

"I'm good, you, how are you?"

"I'm also doing just fine, oh and I hope you would come to Kyle and I's wedding next month."

"Yeah sure just send me the invitation."

"Great! But, why'd you call though?"

"Uhm I would like to know if Cody had a business trip. He hasn't been home for three days now."

"Sure let me check, but I think I don't have a co-worker named Cody though."

"What?"

"I just checked, we don't have an employee named Cody and we also didn't have a business trip for any worker."

"Thanks Naomi, sorry for the trouble."

"No problem Anna. see you next month!"

"Yeah sure."

Once the call ended, Jianna fell on her knees as realization dawned on to her. She looked around the house making her tears fall. 

Even though she felt weak, she managed to go to the bedroom and tuck herself in as she silently cried.
