Third Person

Penelope and Peter had spent the last month together before their senior year.

Penelope still hasn't told Peter why she threw up.

But, he will find out much sooner than she hoped.

The morning of her first day at school, Penelope woke up and went to grab one of her baggiest outfits.

She picked out a baggy brown hoodie that has the word Singular on it, matched with ripped jeans and white converse.

Penelope brushes through her hair, leaving it down in her natural blonde curls.

She grabs her phone and backpack and head downstairs.

She grabs a pop tart and gives Stark a kiss on the cheek. "Bye dad! I love you!"

Stark laughs lightly. "Love you too, kiddo. Happy is waiting outside."

Penelope heads downstairs and gets in the car with Happy. Five minutes later they arrive at the school.

Peter, Ned, and MJ are all waiting outside the building when she pulls up.

Penelope quickly hops out of the car, slinging her backpack over her shoulders.

When she reaches her friends she engulfs Peter in a hug.

When they pull apart from the now-normal greeting hug, Peter asks, "Want me to walk with you to get your schedule?"

Penelope nods and Ned and Mj leave, announcing they need to get to class a few minutes early.

Peter and Penelope start to walk in the building when a kid in a car yells. "What's up, Penis Parker?"

Penelope's hands curl into fists and Peter leads her away. "That was Flash Thompson," he tells her. "He's just a jerk."

Penelope nods and unclenches her hands.

They walk up to the office and are greeted by the office lady.

"Hello. How can I help you today?" The lady mentions.

"I'm Penelope Stark. I'm here for my schedule."

The lady smiles and hands her the schedule.

1st- Science. Mr. Garland

2nd- Gym. Mr. Wilson

3rd- Creative Writing. Mrs. Jean

4th- History. Mrs. Darling

Lunch

5th- Free Period

6th- Free Period

7th- Free Period

"Why do I have three free periods?" Penelope asked her.

"You, my dear, have a higher IQ than some of the smartest people on the planet. It would have been pointless for you to have been placed in any more classes than you already are." The lady responds.

Penelope nods and heads with Peter to their lockers that happen to be right next to each other.

Penelope heads to Science and Peter heads to his math class and they get through first period with no problems.

Second period was different.

Penelope walked in with Peter and they walked over to Ned and MJ.
