Richard's POV

Finally the last hour of my first day got over. A silent day in school after a long time.

I saw Kenny and his friends and went over to them. They were so kind and also Kenny and I immediately clicked. He loves spicy food and he plays my favourite game too.

We planned to play together one day. He told he had some senior friends who he plays with and invited me that evening to the PC games-room. Who tells no for games? I immediately agreed.

That evening I met with Charlie, Jace and Jack, the seniors in Winterbay high Kenny introduced me with.

Charlie was an awesome player, he soon became someone I look up to now. Jace and Jack were awesome with the defence attacks. We played for hours eating some noodles and again playing.

After some time, I heard someone coming inside, saying "Charlie I'm here to get you right in time so mom wouldn't find you were in the PC room the whole evening 2 days before our final exams." I turned to look around, it was Dania. She was shocked to see me here too. "Um.... Why are YOU here though?", she asked me.

Charlie came and said, "Hey sis, this is my new friend Richard and Richard this my little sister, Dania." So she's Charlie's little sister huh!

Dania's POV

Why do I run into this guy often? It hasn't even been one whole day saying that I would not involve myself with him. I took a deep breath, I looked at Charlie and then turned to Richard and said, "Hii Richie, didn't think you would be a gaming person though. Oh Kenny would be the reason. Right?"

I know Kenny and Charlie play games always and people joining them would also do that. "Yeah Ann didn't think I would see you here too. Who says no to games though?", said Richard.

Charlie looked at us puzzled, "Richie?, Ann? Am I missing something? Do you guys know each other?"

"Yes my brother...... , we're in the same class" I said. "Oh I forgot you're a freshman too Richie" Charlie said as he was packing his things.

Kenny jumped in saying, "Hey Richie you have to spell it out for Annie. Technically speaking I just offered to play a game or two with you. She'll be thinking I'm someone who forces kids to play with me which I'm clearly not." Richie winked at me and gave a shrug to Kenny as he walked out with Charlie.

Watching Kenny clueless was one of the best. Kenny whined, "hey that's not how you deal with things." I was laughing catching my stomach. Even the new guy knows how to make Kenny lose his marbles.

We left him behind as I joined Charlie walking home. The PC room was just a few blocks from our house so we would walk there.

I noticed Richie walking along with us and poked my brother with my elbow and raising my eyebrows looking at Richie. I was gesturing Charlie asking why was he coming along with us.

To my surprise, Richie noticed it and said, "I'm a few blocks from your house, so we're walking together now." I looked at him and replied, "Oh okayy".

Ahh.... Why is he so quick witted and why is this brother of mine suddenly so slow to understand. I made a fool of myself with all the gesturing signs.

The way home was then silent till we reached my house, then we waved Richie bye as he walked past my house.

Soon we had our final exams.

My final exam was in 20 hours and I knew I wasn't prepared for my exam. I felt my heart beating fast as I just starred at the wall, thinking what to study. That's when I knew my exam fear is back, ready to take a toll on me mentally. I couldn't concentrate at all.

Whenever someone spoke to me, I just blurted out the words without thinking and they hurt the listener. But I couldn't think of anything else, with my mind totally wrapped up only thinking of my exam that I'm supposed to write the next day. That's when I decided to just isolate myself from everyone till the exam's over.

The whole week of my exams, I don't eat properly or I should say I forget hunger and sleep.

Charlie never understands my point of view totally, so he just stays in his room thinking dad and mom has given me too much freedom that I lash out on anyone who knocks my door.

My hand starts to itch whenever I was anxious and as always by the end of the exam week my palm would be red as ever.

I have the feeling of something tapping through the inside of my head when I feel anxious. Maybe some of you would know....

Occasionally my anxiety totally takes over that I couldn't walk even an inch. This doesn't happens for exams though and the extreme case would be that my entire body shivers too much and I pass out.

I reached the exam hall early to avoid any trouble. I saw Liz and Jen approaching me. They were just like me with drooping eyes from studying all night. We looked like zombies.

Kenny came to me and asked what to study. "Are you freaking kidding, Kenny? I spent the entire night studying and what did you do last night?Do you know we have just 2 hours before our exam starts?", I asked Kenny.

He replied in a cool tone, "Hey I'm early today though. Not just half an hour before the exam starts like last time. Anyway you made me pass all my subjects with your last minute tutoring. Help me this time too Anniee.... Please...I will treat you to a big meal this time."

"Well think you're lucky today gentleman" I said as I explained him pretty much everything with easy learning methods. Who doesn't like when you offer food?

When I was writing my exam, I was thinking about whether Kenny is writing all the right answers. Its normal for a teacher to worry about her student. I looked across the hall and saw him writing with fire. I chuckled as I continued to write mine.

I always learn the last few days before the exam and it has always helped me score well. Many tell me it doesn't work.... Well works fine for me! Also teaching Kenny helps me remember my topics well and it helps him clear all his subjects too. Isn't it two mangoes in one stone?
