Getting A Date With Destiny

Jaune walks through the hall before stopping in front of Team SCRL's dorm. After knocking Rex opens the door.

"Hey Jaune." Rex greets. "What do you need?"

"Hey Rex. I..." He stops. "I need some advice." Rex raises a brow, but steps aside letting Jaune in. Crimson was in the corner reading, Lilly was looking in the dorm closet at her small collection of dresses, and Anakin was meditating on his bed.

Rex leads Jaune to his bed and gestures for him to sit. "So what's this about?" Rex asks.

"I, I just wanted to get your advice on... girls." He admits. Everyone in the room stops what their doing.

Anakin, still in his meditating pose opens his eyes to look at Jaune. "Girls?"

"Yeah... I um, girls." Jaune stutters. "I just, I guess what im asking Rex is how did you and Lilly get together?"

Lilly snickers while Rex rolls his eyes. "He was so nervous when he asked." She laughs. "He was stuttering and sweating his eyes out."

Crimson snorts, and Anakin bit back a laugh trying to have his best friends back. "Jaune what is this about?" Rex asks sternly.

"I uh..." He sighs. "It's Pyrrha."

Anakin smiles. "Your finally gonna ask her out?" Anakin asks.

"Y-yeah?"

Crimson puts his book down. "What is it you want?" He asks. "You want pick up lines or something?" He says making Jaune look down in sadness.

"Advice mostly." Jaune says. "I want to ask her out, but I also want to apologize to her.

"You don't need to apologize to her Jaune." Anakin states. That got Jaune's attention as he frowns toward Anakin.

"What do you mean?"

"Seriously?" Rex asks Jaune in disbelief. "Just ask her to the dance! Short easy and simple."

Jaune's eyes widened. "All I have to do is ask?"

Lilly rolls her eyes. "Jaune, you don't need pick up lines or anything. Just ask her and I'm positive she'll accept."

Rex nods. "Yeah, if anything I think your the only one that could get her so long as you can ask."

Jaune places his hand to his head. "I'm an idiot."

"Yes you are." Anakin agrees. "Now go out there and become someone smart."

Jaune stands up quickly only already coming up with a plan in his mind. He pulls his scroll out and sends a message to Ren.

"Hey Ren, is Pyrrha there right now?"
After a moment Ren responds.

"She just got back. You want me to tell her something?"

"No just keep her their please. Don't tell her I'm coming."

After that Jaune got a thumbs up emoji from him. "Alright. Rex do you still have my guitar?"

Later in the JNPR dorm Pyrrha is cleaning her weapons while Nora is in her PJ's reading a book with headphones on. Ren is keeping his eye on Pyrrha as he works on his Grimm Study's homework. Eventually a knock is heard from the door. Pyrrha looks to the door then to Ren and Nora.

Ren looks to Pyrrha. "It's for you." He says. Pyrrha frowns.

For me? She thought. Ren quickly while Pyrrha wasn't looking shot Nora's scroll a message. Getting the gingers attention. When she reads it she grins.

Pyrrha stands and walks over to the door. When she opens it she sees Jaune sitting on a chair with his Guitar in his hands strumming a tune. She is shocked and places a hand to her mouth wide eyed.
