When I had finally reached home- I was bombarded by questions. The second I came through the door I had my mom and dad waiting for me.
"Honey... how did it go?" they both said in unison.
"It was.. perfect! I loved every bit of it!-"
"Wait-what happened to your dress?" My dad interrupted.
"Oh- we had to... play a game. Musical chairs- and while I was running toward to get a chair because of... erm... socialization- And when I was running towards it, I had torn my dress".
That seemed enough for my parents because after me explaining a make- believe interior design of "Gina's house", they let me go. I had walked away and up the stairs when I was faced by my brother-hands crossed, and with a calculating expression that showed nothing.
"Why did you overreact and lie to them?"
"Well- I told them what they wanted to hear. And besides, what would I tell them?"
"True" My brother and I considered
"Don't you think that was weird? I mean, somebody that has magic. Somebody other than me"
He nodded.
"You know what? Let's just sleep- and think about this tomorrow. This is serious. You're a nuke bomb, just waiting to explode." Miles hissed.
I had changed into my cat pyjamas and had gotten ready for some well deserved sleep when I looked around my room. I would miss the old thing. I had a starlight light that spun around slowly and was on my black nightstand.
Beside that nightstand, there was the bed-on the corner of the room. And my favourite spot- My room had a bend and a little window curved around it. It was barely a meter wide, but it was my favourite spot.
I had pillows and a mattress that fits into that little spot perfectly. From there- I would watch the pigeons and seagulls fight over the food I put there every day for them. I would read books and wonder about- what if I was that hero or heroine? Would I be that brave?
As I looked around my purple-themed room-I thought of what to bring with me until I slowly but surely-slept into a deep, deep sleep.

The sun from my skylight shone onto my face and I had woken up. I woke up to see my brother on the edge of my bed looking at me hesitantly.
"Dude!" I yelled "What are you doing here? Can any creature get a little break around here?"
"T- this is serious." He said. His voice made barely any sound "Mr. Fern is here, I don't want you to go and I know that I will miss you and what if he doesn't let you use your phone and you can not ever call me and I don't know where you are and what is happening and-"
"Too many run on sentences!" I groaned. But I knew he was right. I could hear Mr. Ferns talking and my parent's voices.
"B-but- I'll miss you!"
"I will too," I said, pulling him into a hug. It was too sappy for me so I rubbed his head mischievously and felt his black hair over my hand. I would miss him, but I had to go. We trudged down the stairs to find Mr. Fern talking to our parents. I smiled at him. And then gasped- I was still wearing my pyjamas.
"I'm going to change!" I yelled over my shoulder and walked to my room. Once I changed, I walked downstairs and saw Mr. Fern beckoning to me.
"Mr. Fern, Nora. Nora, Mr. Fern" My dad introduced us "Mr. Fern-" and was interrupted by Mr. Fern splashing a drop of water on his clothes. Everybody in the room froze.
