Hange threw her coat and things on the ground as he stepped into the house, huffing and sighing as she sat down at the dining table. You heard the commotion and stepped out of the master bedroom to see your partner and to see if you could cater to her needs.

"Sweetie are you okay? Something happened today?" You said in a concerning tone.

"Oh...hi honey...it's nothing just a hard day." Hange said.

Not taking that for a good answer, you walked over to her and squatted down so that you both could see each other face to to face.

"I hate when you lie like that, tell me what's wrong."

"It's...it's just...this new commander thing...it's a lot honey. Dealing with Eren and Zeke, not knowing their true intentions or whats gonna happen is throwing me off. I appreciated him and felt so much honor when he gave me this position but I still wish Erwin was here, I feel like he would know what to do in a time like this." She finally confessed.

You could see the tiredness and hurt into her eyes, you cup her face with both hands and kissed her forehead and brought her closer to you.

"I know honey, I know. I miss him too but he knew what he was doing when he made you commander. Your strong, you know how to lead your squad in the right path. He choose you for a reason, he wouldn't have just thrown this position to anybody. You know you got this, you just have to work though it one step at a time. I won't leave your side so you have me as well, you know I love you." You said to her while caressing her head and face.

She smiled at your touch and pulled you closer listening to your words.

"You always know what to say, I'm so grateful for you."

You smiled and kissed her passionately. Stepping away from it, you whispered to her.

"I'm grateful for you, there's no telling what I would do without you."  You said softly.

"Come on, let's head to the room." You said standing up and holding out your hand.

She gets up to grab it and head to the room where you both fell fast asleep.

The next day, you spent all day getting the house ready, cooking and preparing for the relaxing night. You had on their favorite dress and had your hair in your signature for night out.

You heard the door jiggle and stood right in the middle of the living room waiting to reveal the surprise. The door opens to a once again stressed Hange, she looked up and it seems the stressed walked away from her face as a smile crept on.

"Baby, what is all of this? Is it our anniversary already?"

"No silly, this is just for you...I know how hard it is with the scouts and I just wanted us to have one night stress free without the worrying of work." You said grabbing her hand, looking deep into her eyes.

She smiled and sighed as a signal of happiness and relief, she looked back into your eyes and you could tell that the surprise was a success.

"Come on sweetie, we gotta eat before it gets cold." You said smiling.

She nods and you both head into the dining room,lit only by candle light. You sat at one end and she sat on the other.

"How did you cook all of this? I know you didn't do this by yourself."

You giggle as they were right. "I know, Niccolo came and helped me. I definitely owe him one for this."

"Of course he did, I can definitely taste it! Oh wait sweetie let me tell you what happened today! So Jean..."
