Counterpart - 33

Aruvi's Pov

I struck.

The same nightmare,which I had first, 2 months ago.

The darkness,the shallow water on the floor abnormally gilttering under no source of light and the same white dress I'm wearing.

Also a person lying on the water in a far way distance, unconscious.

Jimin..

I regozined and ran, faster than last time.I can't let anything happen to my love.I must save him no matter what.

But nonetheless just like last time,those Ivy vines blocked my legs from running and pushed me down on the ground,on my knees.

"Jimin!!!!!", Desperately his name left in a shout from my mouth.

I want him to wake up and run into my arms to tell me that he is fine,that he's alright and everything will be okay.

I know it's all nothing but a bad dream I'm having,once I wake up, Jimin would be by my side on the bed,embrace in his warm hold and lull me to sleep again,a peaceful one.But I couldn't deny the fact,that this mere dream drilling a pain of eternity in my heart.I can never able to be rational if it was Jimin getting hurt.

I desperate for something would happen,I'll wake up from this hell or something would change better,but nothing changed and he didn't wake up nor my desperate cry stopped.

Among all this one thing happened,scaring me to my bone.The gold and silver chains of confinement started circling my wrists and ankle along the pricking harsh Ivy.

The chain's gold and silver burned on my skin.

Tears streamed down from eyes,not from the pain,but at my inability to save my love,my Jimin.

Suddenly,my body became cold at the fear of hearing the familiar footsteps behind me.

"Aruvi....", The voice I detest called out me and I felt coldness sweeping on my back.

"Ira...",I chocked as she put her one arm around my chest and other around my eyes,closing it.

How much I hate to admit,I always felt at home in her embrace.How much of a nightmare and danger Ira was to me,she after all a part of me that I always been honest to.

"Shuu.. don't cry..", Ira voice not above a whisper rang behind my ear in the cold darkness as she rocked me back and forth softly to comfort me.

It did help a bit as my panick and anger shifted themselves into tears and I broke out in sobs.

Jimin is just few meters away from me,if only I could breakfree,I could save him.My mind became fuzzy with overwhelming feelings of the mere thought of lossing Jimin.

Though how much I tell myself it's just a dream and Jimin is safe in real world,I couldn't erase the pain of even thought of him getting hurt.

I love him so much.

"Ah...why are you crying? I won't hurt him..", Ira said softly as if she was hurt at how Aruvi behaving.

"Don't you dare lie..you..you are a monster... Jimin did nothing..so please,please let him go..",I begged holding on to her hands that circling me,like I'm a prey of the snake.

Ira is capable of anything and I know it because I myself saw what she can do.

3rd person's Pov

Aruvi weeped holding onto Ira's arms.

"I told you..I won't hurt him,why would I hurt my reason and your lover?Technically I'm a part of you and he mean to me same as he mean to you",Ira said looking over at the place which initially had Aruvi's mind stimulated Jimin's essences.

It was part of a dream,like vision of future to indicates both Aruvi and Ira about their impending danger.

Jimin is at danger,they both know,but saddest part is Aruvi believes it will be because of Ira.

Though Ira hates what Aruvi feels for Jimin,she can't help and be swirled under those feelings,that she could never dare to hurt him.

Though Ira and Aruvi are same individuals sperated based on their energy,they feel and live through same emotions and feelings.

Above all Ira was a being born out of Aruvi's negative energy,darkness.It was the reason Aruvi is so scared of Ira's capacity of hurting Jimin to gain power over her body to break out.

For a human there won't be much of change if their balance in energies differs and all much can happen is,the human become more nice or a serious criminal ,worst case a brutal Psychopath.

But not much worse as a being filled with only darkness and death itself,that happened to Aruvi.

That's why Aruvi is scared of Ira,even though the darkness was herself too,Aruvi couldn't accept and face Ira, leading to Aruvi locking up her counter part with her remaining powers.

Aruvi's pull was so strong that,it dominated Ira for a decade and made her stay silent,but Jimin's appearance in their life stirred up lot in Aruvi,causing Ira to break-off.

But what Aruvi don't know is,Ira would never do something that would break what already broken Aruvi.Ira was the only one, who witnessed the girl's pain,wounds and unsettling grief.Ira being a creature of dark,wasn't much of a darkness that possess bad intention.Ira infact wasn't born as a punishment for Aruvi,but a counterpart born to protect her when things become overwhelming.

"No!! No,don't you dare hurt him.He has nothing to do with you,I'll never trust you!!", Aruvi yelled in Ira's tightening grip.

"You'll never believe me,huh?" Ira's voice laced with sadness that Aruvi's couldn't register in her wreaked state.

"Hahahahahaha....', Ira's manic laughter made Aruvi to cry even more,she was so helpless.So helpless in her own hands.

But what she didn't realize is pain and sadness in that manic laughter of Ira.

Her own self couldn't accept her.
