A week or so had passed after the two had gone to the cafè. They occasionally texted each other, but didn't have many direct or interesting conversations.
To be quite honest with you, the last two days were pretty uneventful. Dream would simply head to the library either everyday, or every other day, play Minecraft, and just sort of talk to his friends. In a way, he didn't mind this, but doing something out of the normal would be quite fun to him. Which, was probably one of the reasons he talked to Techno. He kind of liked the challenge of attempting to have a casual conversation, in which he could have with ease with any other English speaker. Aside from that, Techno overall seemed like a cool person to be around. And, it was definitely out of the usual, so what was there to lose?
He was caught out of his thoughts as Sapnap leaned in the doorway of his room, George standing beside him.
"Ay, Dream? Apparently, George really likes Harry Potter now, and he wants the next book."
George rolled his eyes.
"Okay, I guess it was enjoyable. I thought it was too overhyped, at first."
Dream laughed, though he was glad that he was finally forcing his friends to do some reading. Sapnap was next.
"Alright. I'm sure the library has it, but it might be checked out already. It is pretty popular," Dream noted, standing up out of his bed. He'd have to stop himself from checking out any more for himself— he already had five he had to read.

Dream shivered at the wind, pulling his jacket closer. He knew it'd be cold today, but he didn't think it'd be this cold.
"Dream," Sapnap dramatically spoke, "We should cuddle. For warmth."
It was obvious he was joking, but there actually were times all three of them had done that. It was pretty funny looking back on it, because cuddling wasn't as easy as it was cracked up to be. 'I'm uncomfortable.' 'Get up, I have to piss.' 'Can you please move your arm literally anywhere else?' 'I'm thirsty.' 'Cope.'
"No," He snickered, "Use your jacket, that's what it's for."
George rolled his eyes at his two friends.
"Come on, you idiots," He laughed, "We're going to the library."
When the three of them arrived, Dream immediately relaxed. The room was luckily set to a warm temperature, as always, and today, he seemed to appreciate it more.
Dream led George towards the section of Harry Potter, having been here more times than he could count. Sapnap said he'd just be looking throughout the library, just to see what they have.
"Here. You should find it here," Dream noted, "I'll probably be browsing the shelves, though I probably don't need more books. Find me if you need me."
George nodded, already kneeled down and skimming through the titles.
Dream, content with that, left the shelf and returned to a different one. He hummed, looking at the books. He was aware he had zero restraint. If he found a book he liked, he'd insist he'd die without it.
He was about to pull one off the shelf when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He figured it was just George, but when he turned around, he noticed light pink hair and red eyes.
Techno was here!
The past few times Dream had gone to the library, he hadn't seen Techno around at all. But, since he was here now, Dream could only assume he also took regular trips to the library.
"Oh! Hey, Techno!" He waved, a slow smile forming on his face.
"Hi," Techno responded.
Dream paused and thought for a moment, trying to remember any sort of French Duolingo had taught him.
"Tu vas bien?" (Are you well?) He asked, aware that his pronunciation probably sucked.
"Yes," Techno nodded, "You?"
"Oui." (Yes)
He was about to say something else when George poked his head from around the shelf, walking towards him.
"Hey, Dream, I found it. Hey, who's this?"
Dream turned to face his friend.
"Glad you found it. This is Techno, by the way."
George scanned over him for a moment.
"Do you speak English?"
"Yes," Techno stated, "A little."
George nodded.
"Nice to meet you."
"Yo, Dream, I found this cool book I might li- wait, who's this?"
Dream glanced over, noticing that Sapnap had arrived as well, and would most likely be joining them.
"This is Techno."
Sapnap made a quiet "oh" sound.
"Oh! The guy you went on a date with, right?" He joked, playfully wiggling his eyebrows.
Dream rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and seriously hoping Techno didn't understand what was said.
"It was not a date."
Apparently, Techno understood what Sapnap had said, or at least enough of it, because he had agreed, though he looked rather flustered.
"No. Not a date."
"It definitely was," Sapnap teased, while George only lightly elbowed him, scolding for him to stop so Techno's first impression of them wasn't weird.
Techno sighed, muttering to himself, "Tu as le QI d'une huitre." (You have the IQ of an oyster)
Dream whispered to Techno, leaning in, "What'd you say to him?"
"Use Google."
It was needless to say that once it had been translated, Dream could not stop wheezing. He tried to wheeze quietly, if anything, as this was a library, but he was quite obviously amused by the French insult he'd thrown at Sapnap.
Soon, the three of them decided that they should probably start heading home.
"It was nice to meet you," George told him, a smile on his face.
"Yeah, you're cool," Sapnap chipped in, holding the book he decided he wanted to check out close.
"Thank you. You are as well," Techno replied evenly, turning to Dream, "Goodbye. See you soon."
Dream nodded.
"Au revoir," (Goodbye) He grinned, waving one last time and following his friends, which were checking out the books they wanted. He was lucky he ran into Techno, or else he probably would have tried to check out five more books that he didn't need.
Overall, he was kind of glad his friends met Techno. Techno was a cool person. And, at least George could be assured that the guy wasn't a mass murderer.
...Probably.
