"Call me snapmap one more time, and we're going to have problems," Sapnap complained, making his Minecraft character head towards a tree.
"Sorry," Dream wheezed, returning back to the game at hand. His phone had dinged a couple times, but he ignored it. Whenever he played Minecraft, he got invested.
Eventually, though, after several fits of laughter and struggles, he ended up beating the game once more, which was what he had strived to do in the first place.
He blinked, a chuckle escaping his lips as he rubbed his eyes. After staring at a screen for so long, it's kind of weird pulling yourself back to the real world, in a sense.
"Well," George cleared his throat, "That was fun."
Sapnap and Dream agreed with a quiet hum.
Dream glanced towards the table next to him, reaching out and turning on his phone.
Firstly, he had a duolingo notification. The painful reminder that he hadn't been keeping up with his French studies as he has intended to. And, secondly, a message from Techno.Techno

okAy"Aye, who are you texting?" George questioned, looking up from the book he'd apparently grabbed. Dream couldn't deny it— he was pleased he'd gotten his friend to really enjoy a book.
"Great to see you reading," Dream snickered, "I'm talking to Techno."
"Oooh," Sapnap teased, adjusting his tone into seriousness soon afterwords, "You should invite him over! It's not too early, right?"
Dream shrugged, awkwardly reaching up to brush a loose strand of hair out of his face.
"I'm not sure we know each other well enough."
"Well," George started, a grin forming on his face as he set his book aside, "I'm still not completely convinced he isn't a murderer."
Dream rolled his eyes, lightly shoving George.
"Come on, he wouldn't even speak enough English to defend himself in court."
The three of them laughed at that.
"Well," Dream went on, "I would like to see him again. No promises he'll come, but I'll ask if he'd like to visit my apartment."
"Yeah, all jokes of you dating him aside," Sapnap gave a slow smile, "He does seem like a cool guy. Especially since he had the pure endurance to learn a second language. Seriously, whoever even thinks about learning a foreign language, my utmost admiration has to go to them."
"Wow, merci," (thank you) Dream said with a sarcastic tone, chuckling soon afterwords. He then returned to his phone
