Chapter 1 Recap - Tyler goes off to his friends house who's name is Sam after a restless night. Tyler being someone who doesn't care much about school or his grades just copies his friends notes by taking a picture. Soon after in the even he hears a small sound coming from his phone, appearing to be the sound of a small girl, muffled and distorted he could barley make house the voice, he receives a rather disturbing text along with it apologizing for what he has gone through. He brushes it off as night terrors, only to find the next day during a chemistry exam that the photo of his friends notes was corrupted, but appeared to be back to normal not long after.

- Chapter 2 Beginning

It was about 2:00pm now, Tyler was guessing he had flunked his test as usual. "One more damned class" he whispered to himself praying a near by teacher hadn't heard. Tyler was torn about school, it shredded him to bits but it was also a safe place. At school, if it weren't for the overloads of work he had to do, was simply a place to hang out with friends. Tyler liked being away from his house has much as he didn't want to admit it, it was nice to have a break.

Suddenly he heard his bell ring, his last class had finished. "3:57pm" the clock read as he checked his phone to climb onto the bus. The bus was old and seemed like it would collapse on the road at any minute, he heard nothing but the chatter of the kids in the back and the probably popped tires making their way across the pavement. He had to a small town around 4:30pm as his stop was last. His house was far away, out of the school bus' range, so his bus would drop him off near another bus waiting for him. He climbed out of his school bus to hop onto another, just for another long and tedious ride up to the mountains. "5:42pm" he muffled to himself, he had just gotton home and school ended almost 2 hours ago. His house was on a large amount of property, the house was small but the yard was huge. The yard expanded across 900 feet, with flowers, trees, raspberries and sharp rose bushes infesting all of it. The house was pretty beat up, it looked like a single rainstorm could knock it over and bugs making their homes in half of the rooms. It barley had running water and only had power in 1 room, the only wifi he had was his own hotspot he had bought.

He had lived there for a couple months now, his dad was a builder and wanted to make it into something livable again. He wasn't fond of how run down it was, but he enjoyed running through the thick woods, and the challenge of rebuilding a house. He had a dog that would explore the woods with him, he would often go exploring and even found a small dent in the trees at the bottom of the hill he lived on. He wanted to one day build a small hut in area, and have his own small hide out. Regardless of how run down is house was though or not, it had a charging station and a heater, and that's all he wanted. He walked into his house with the ceiling no more than a foot above his head, and went over to grab his old lap top. His school was mostly online, so he went through the pages of his homework one by one..click, click, click, over and over again. It seemed like he amount of work he had never ended. He decided to walk down to the café once again, it was about a mile from his house and was in a little town. He packed his laptop, his phone, and a charging cable for both. He grabbed a couple dollar bills from his desk and took off.

He arrive to the café at around 6:00pm. He walked up to the counter and ordered a small coffee. he had gone over to a booth and set out his laptop hooking up to the guest wifi. "Civil War Essay, due tonight at 11:59pm. Worth 75% of grade.", he scoffed as he read over the note he had left on his laptop. He had given up on writing it, his grade in history was already failing, so why bother? After a long night of getting little homework done he decided to go back home, the café was closing in a matter of minutes so its not like he had much of a choice. When he got home his mother was already sleeping once again, so he snuck up to his room keeping close to the wall to minimize the creaking sound of the stairs. It was around 10:00pm and he noticed that the weird sound from last night started around then, so he decided to stay up. He locked himself in his closet and bundled up in a blanket with his laptop playing a quite youtube video. His phone was near him with the volume all the way up. "10:30pm" he read, he was about to give up on waiting when he heard a faint distorted whisper coming from his phone speaker. He held his phone closer up to his ear to try and make out what she was saying. "We're here, we're here, we're here.." over and over again, the voice just repeated itself. He checked to see if he had gotten another text message and to no surprise, he did. "Dont check outside your door." it read. He just, stared, at the phone, wondering who this was. Maybe it was a friend pranking him? Maybe someone hacked his phone? He had no idea what was going on. Suddenly just like last night, all the sound came to a sudden stop. He collected himself and left his closet to go to sleep, assuming his friend was attempting to scare him. He tried to think of every possibility that could explain what was going on, and, he actually thought of some reasonable explanations until he received another text. It was from the same number, but this one wasn't a normal message. "1 attachment, click to download" was wrote in small grey text, it was a link to an image. After hesitating for a few moments, he finally downloaded it. What he saw practically threw him out of his bed rushing to turn on the lights. It was a picture of him in his bed. It wasn't taken through a window, through his closet, or anything of the kind. It was taken from the center of his room. He flung up the light switch from the only working power source, and checked every corner of his room. There was no one there. He finally had enough "Cut the bullshit dude" he replied to the unknown number, there was no response.
