"Sister? What's wrong? Are you finished talking with Prophetus? Are we leaving? I didn't even get to say hello... Wait! Katarina!"

Katarina huffed up the ladder of the secret entrance. Cassiopeia stared after her, having just made her way to the front of the alleyway by the time her sister was back, angry, and ready to leave.

Katarina was up just as fast as she had come down, leaving her sister in the dark of the alleyway to find her way up the ladder much slower than she had made her way down.

"Katarina! Tell me!" Cassiopeia yelled after her sister.

"She is WRONG!"

The reply came back, with an echo attached. Her tone of voice was so strong it could carry all the way to the cell, which Katarina didn't mind if it would. She wanted Her to know she was angry. Prophetus could no longer be a friend, even if what she told the assassin was the complete, total truth.

Katarina didn't want to hear that. It was weakness. It was unfairness. It was the feeling in her gut, telling her she was going to lose out there.

The assassin was, finally, disturbed by the voice of a guard. Though it was his duty to be rough with her now that he would be leading her to the boundary of Noxian territory, he was patient and respectful. It was his right to be so either way. Even though she was to be an exile, she would have killed him right there if he was to awaken her rudely.

Also luckily for him, the thin young adult was already prepared and wide awake, only letting her mind drift off in anger. She was enveloped with her anger, especially after what Prophetus said. It sat in the back of her mind, the words echoing and stabbing her mind.

The assassin wore her typical outfit, giving her body room to be agile and as well as quiet. Her long, red hair moved freely with her, as free as the wind.

Though she had been advised when she was younger that it would be most beneficial to keep her hair short or tied up, Katarina thought it to be ridiculous. She found comfort in her long hair, especially it's mostly rare and unlikely color. Considering her family tree, it seemed nearly impossible for her hair to be natural, but its color was completely by chance. Some elders said it may have some magical quality to it that may signify her strength as an assassin. Hearing this, as a child, Katarina felt it would be completely taboo to cut her hair off, or even put it up. The more it was free, the more free the assassin felt herself.

Katarina followed the guard close behind, staring a burning hole into the back of his neck. Eventually, he turned to look at her, to check that she was there. Around her wrists there were heavy cuffs, obviously enchanted by their purple tint. Katarina glared at them as well, not because she was angry at being exiled, but because they were weakening her energy very slowly.

The guard, watching her do this, sighed quietly. "Lady Katarina, it would be wrong for me to remove those cuffs. They are there for your safety."

Katarina huffed. "There isn't anything safe about me being tied up. If something was to happen, like an ambush, would be most trustworthy to protect us. Not you. I am most qualified for protecting myself, so we both know these are for your safety, as if Noxus assumes I won't go down without a fight. However, this is my city state. This is my territory. I will listen to what they say. I will not go against what my father supports. I will return and I will become the head of the DuCoteau house once more. I will return and I will take my fathers spot at the head of the Noxian military when he passes."

There was a long silence from the guard, who continued to walk, letting an awkward air fill between them.

Katarina spoke again, "I am part of Noxus. If you want me to live, return, and rule, you will take these cuffs off of me. I will die out there. Especially once I get to the edge of the territory. Leaving the aura takes an amount of energy I won't be able to handle with these cuffs sapping it out of me. They're trying to kill me. If you don't take these off me by the time we get to the edge, I will not leave Noxus. I will go to the elders and I will kill them all, if I have to. But I will not go down dying because the elders think they can make a trick around the deal they made with my father. And you will not be able to overpower me and prolong my leaving."
