"King Tharn, your transport awaits you."
"Thank you," the young king says, his eyes warm as he gazes at his assistant.
Many have said that the new King of Bangkok is a ruthless being despite his young age. At the tender age of 18, he had assumed the throne after defeating all would-be claims in a bloody battle. Two years had passed since and no one dared to challenge his authority.
"What's on the agenda for today, Techno?"
"We will travel to the coast for the coming of age of the last prince in the country, Type Thiwat."
The king pondered the information with a well-concealed tightness in his chest. This would be his last chance at choosing a mate from his home country. If he didn't find one tonight, he would have to begin looking outwards which could cause unrest.
Techno could sense his nervousness, having been his best friend since he was born. "Everything will work out, my King."
