OR THE ONE WHERE THEY ALMOST GET CAUGHT !!
It was later that week and the Hogwarts halls were more crowded than normal. Everywhere you looked were Hogwarts students but also Beauxbatons and Durmstrang boys and girls. The atmosphere was great and everyone was happy — some were a tiny bit mad but Amy tried to ignore that. Harry Potter, Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour and Viktor Krum were the chosen champions, not a lot of people thought it was fair that Harry was chosen as he wasn't old enough yet.
She hadn't talked much to George after that evening, it stayed with longing glances and sometimes they brushed each other's hand when passing.
Matt was absolutely thrilled when Amy had told him what had happened and he dubbed himself their biggest cheerleader. Hoping for more and rooting for them with everything in him. He wiggled his eyebrows a lot, especially when they spotted George and his twin, who were always together and thus made it harder for Amy to strike up a conversation with George.
Amy wasn't sure if Fred knew about George and her. Wasn't sure if George wanted to keep it a secret, the little thing they had. Was it a thing? She wasn't sure.
The dark haired girl was just on her way to the library to meet Penelope Clearwater to study. Penelope was a year above her and funnily enough; used to date George's older brother, Percy. Amy wasn't sure why because George had told her about Percy and he made him seem out to be very stuck up, Penelope was everything but. Penelope was a right laugh and Amy liked to spend time with her. Penelope also happened to be a Prefect and she often saved the younger Ravenclaw girl from trouble.
She was close to the library, just a couple of metres away, but a hand around her arm stopped her from entering and the person pulled her behind a tapestry that hung on the wall. There was a small tunnel behind it — it was too dark to see where it led to.
"George?" Amy could smell him. He smelled like cinnamon and gunpowder. The gunpowder in the fireworks they always messed around with. They were kind of famous for setting of unwanted fireworks in classrooms, once even in the Great Hall. McGonagall wasn't too happy about that.
"Shh," He pressed a finger on her lip and he slid it down, taking her bottom lip with it.
"What are you doing?" Amy whispered.
It was broad daylight and the suspension of sneaking around excited her. Everyone could walk by, could hear them. This was the main entrance to the library so they had to be very, very quiet.
"I missed you," George spoke softly back, his lips brushing against her cheek.
This excited Amy even more. He missed her! George Weasley missed boring, plain Amelia Edwards. Okay, maybe not plain.. And perhaps not boring. But she certainly wasn't as interesting as the younger Weasley twin.
