"HE DID WHAT?!"

"Don't shout, please!"

"You told me nothing was going to happen!"

"It's just a kiss, Matt! It didn't mean anything."

"He admitted he has a crush on you!"

Matt was almost screaming and Amy had to keep on shushing him. People at the Ravenclaw breakfast table kept on looking at them and Amy was furiously blushing.

"I don't know if that's actually true."

This was the first time ever she had seen Matt so excited about something. His rule about not talking at breakfast was gone and his eyes bulged out of his head. He had to retain himself from slamming his hands on the table and his smile almost split his face.

"Of course it's true! Have you looked in the mirror recently? You're beautiful! I would totally crush on you if it weren't for the fact I like dick," Matt said and Amy giggled.

"You're too kind."

Amy thought back to last night. It was perfect but she still doubted that George's confession was true. He never made any effort to talk to her and this was the first time they really had a conversation. But he kissed her.. And she also couldn't remember George ever flirting with anyone. Not like Fred, who flirted with everything he laid eyes on.

She munched on her porridge which was slightly turning cold and she swallowed it. Out of the corner of her eye she saw something white. Matt grabbed it before she had the chance and he unfolded the parchment.

"It's your lover boy," He winked at her and Amy smacked him on the head before grabbing the parchment herself.

Yesterday evening was lovely but I'm not quite sure I understand everything. Be my teacher again? This evening after dinner? X G.

Amy reread it three times, trying to see if she was reading it correctly.

"What does it say?" Matt whispered next to her and she pushed the parchment to him.

It was quiet as he read it.

"What are you waiting for? Say yes!"

She looked up and looked for the ginger boy at the Gryffindor table. He was already staring at her. George gave her a big smile which Amy returned. She nodded her head and his smile turned even bigger — which she didn't think was possible.
