my name is Tommy,

My poetry is written in a Dr. Seuss kind of style to soften the material I'm writing about.

Stand

nihilist, asexual, non-binary and agender, 

these people are not that hard to remember

these people are very often forgot

often dismissed without a thought

often all arranged into the same group 

society depicts them as some kind of troop

as someone who could care less about morals and life 

then they complain when they end it all with a knife 

nihilist, asexual, non-binary and agender, 

often dismissed without a thought

as someone who could stick their hand in a blender 

all while appearing nonchalant 

non-caring, self-loathing, and socially insane 

these labels they have are non-humane  

Not fair?

Don't care!!

Says society to you

New Hollywood baby?

Mutated dog with rabies?

they all get a report without a problem

riots and protests about diversity? 

much less important than small adversities 

I stand, I stumble, I trip and I fall

I arise in order to defend them all

not a person I exclude 

for that would be crude,

hypocritical, two-faced, absurd, and hollow

not a person you should decide to follow

I Stand 

not grand

defaced and despised

but no person should go unrealized

I fight, I bite, I scratch with my claws

I stand for you not without my flaws

no need for a noose 

please let yourself loose

instead, use that stool 

as a useful tool 

to stand and preach 

to tell your story 

and not for the glory

but so the world will know

what they reap they shall sow

So my message to you

is quite overdue

treat others no different than you want to be treated 

an old moral that will always stand undefeated

Shut up!!

Move on!!

don't babble your hate 

all people are different 

and have different fates

whether it be sexuality, race, or even gender 

all people are different and its a splendor 

Be Brave!!

Be Confident!!

Be Proud!!!

and Be You!!

Cause that's an achievement only you can do.
