It's been a week and I haven't talked to Von.

My mother has been trying to win back my trust and respect, but I can't take it anymore. I'm stressed.

I told my boss I need a raise, so I can hurry up and get tf outta here.

But he said 'a good day's work is a good day's pay.'

-Meaning I have to work harder which kinda defeats my purpose.

Jayla and her mom been trying to cheer me up, but I just wanna curl up in a ball and die 🙄.. not literally ofc...

Today, my mom is making the whole house clean out our basement and the rest of the house.

She claims it's a "new start" .

Like girl, why couldn't it be a new start when you- nevermind.

"She needa leave that house." He said.

"Before she can- will you pretty pleaseeeeeeeee cheer her up . It's been a month since you guys knew eachother and y'all feeling eachother"

"It's JAYLA 🙄 ! And can you please help. I'll give you money." I begged

"You a good ass friend, and I'll see. But if she start being rude like how she always is then it's fuck her and I'm not helping again." He said.

"Okay... thanks, and DO NOT tell her what I said." I said.

He just nodded and I left....

After I finished working with my mom and them, I walked to the park.

As I walked there, I noticed Tj

"Hey Tyreek Johnson." I said.

"It's Tj and hey" he said smoking his blunt.

"What's wrong ?" I asked, sitting down with him on the swings

"Shit... life, I just wanna cry and poop and smoke all day-"

"Oh- do you have a counselor?" I asked

"MAN ! Why everyone keep asking me that. I need... I need... man ion even know what I need... wassup with you tho ?" He said.

"I been a little out of it. I don't know, everything in my life went left." I said.

"Mmm you know Jessenia started her stripping job ?" He said

"Nah... I haven't been to work lately."

"I'm tired of life you know ?" He said

"Tell me about it." I said.

"We can get through it okay ?" I said optimistically.

"Tuh. I tried that. Life is just a cluster of issues and problems...issues and problems... and it never gets better. So you better be ready for it."
