Chapter 6: A Mother's Love

-Because, my handsome man, I cursed her!

I couldn't believe what she just told me. Who she was all along. And I thought she was a good person! But that didn't matter. I was scared of what her actions may caused between me and Calli. I hoped she was ok.
-Anyways, my job here is done. You are free to leave., exclaimed Thana, smiling.

Her eyes could give you so much comfort, while her whole face expression gave a very dark feeling. I ran away from that room, trying to find out where I really was. Then I saw the living room, as I realised I was actually in the house the whole time. I tried to go to the kitchen, but when I tried to open the door it was locked. I hoped to find Calli or Rose, but all I could really find was Calli's room, which was also locked from the inside. I sat down in front of her door, until I heard a sound coming from the outside.
-Calli?, I screamed, confused.
-A-Ady?, she replied, her voice shivering.
-Please open the door Calli!, I know you must be upset for what happened but-
-So you remember? she stopped me.
-Yes...i do.., I responded, ashamed.
-So this means you weren't hypnotised...

Then ten seconds of silents came. I stood there, in front of her door, wanting to know what happens. I tried to look through the keyhole of her door, but all I saw was her, standing, looking at the window. I didn't know what to do. Then, she moved towards it. She opened the window, as I screamed for her to stop. She looked at the door, with tears in her eyes, wispering something:
-Goodbye Adelin. I love you.
-No! I screamed.

Then she jumped out of the window. I broke the door, running towards the window, to see if she was ok. She was lying on the thin grass. I was lucky it wasn't a big distance, as her room was at the second floor. I ran out of the house as fast as I could. I would've tried to jump after her, but it was no use if I ended up like her. I brang her back, as Rose was staring at me. She seemed angry, but worried for Callidora. I placed Calli's body on her bed, and I waited on a chair next to her. After two hours, she finally woke up.
-You are awake! I cried.
-A-Ady?
-Never scare me like this again!, I shouted, tears forming in my eyes.

She noticed it, and hugged me. Then she looked sad. I remembered what happened between me and Thana, so I tried to explain to her. She stopped me, telling me she needed some rest. I agreed, leaving her in the room and walking downstairs.
-Is she ok?, Rose asked, concerned.
-Yes, she just needs to rest., I responded, trying to calm her down.

Then she hugged me, thanking me for being there for her. I realised she didn't knew what happened between me and Thana when Thana herself came to ask what happened.
-You should be ashamed of what you did!, I shouted at her.
-Sorry for upsetting you, maybe my memory is playimg tricks, but did I do anything wrong?, Thana responded.

She smirked, as she looked at Rose. Rose was confused. She didn't get why I was angry at Thana. Then, they both walked away to the kitchen. I went for a walk to relieve my stress. I was away for one hour. When I got back, Rose was crying. I froze. All I could think about was Thana doing something bad to Callidora. Then I saw Calli walking towards us.
-Where have you been?, she asked, worried.
-I-I just needed some time for myself!, I responded.
-Thank God you are ok!, she exclaimed.

I was confused. Why was she so worried for me? And why was Rose crying? Then I noticed Thana wasn't there anymore. I asked where Thana was, but Rose stopped me.
-Never pronunce that witch's name ever again!, she shouted at me.
-What happened?, I asked.
-She explained to us in detail how she hypnotised you, then did things to you!

Rose walked towards me. She was mad at me. She then continued, saying how Thana tried to kill Callidora while I was away. I couldn't believe what she was saying. Because of me, Callidore could have died!
-Good thing I was there!, Rose exclaimed.

Then Calli hugged me, kissing my forehead. Her warm lips were trembling. She had tears in her eyes.
-She said she will kill you as revenge!, Calli sobbed.

I hugged her back, calming her down. Rose left us alone, realising we needed some time for ourselves. Then other bad news were to come.
