I suddenly woke up as Rose said:
-Wake up sleepy head.

I couldn't remember anything since she caught us. I was tied up on a chair, unable to move my legs or arms. Then Rose asked:
-Do you love her?
-I am not sure-
-I asked, do you love her? There can only be yes or no, she interrupted me, annoyed.
-Yes. I do.
-Good.

Then she untied my legs and my arms.
-From now on, you can count on me when you are in danger. I will always be here for you two, she said.
-Really?, I asked surprised but happy.
-Yes. You can have my word.

I smiled, walking outside of the room, where Callidora was waiting for me:
-Oh no are you ok? Did she hurt you?, she asked, worried.
-No, actually, she told me we are safe with her. And that if we love eachother, we can be together.
-I can't believe she said that..., Callidora said, sad.
-Is it a bad thing?, I asked, confused.
-No, it's just that she may actually have another reason for letting us be together, she replied.

She seemed concerned, so I realise it may be about the curse. I didn't said anything, so she won't notice I realised what was really the reason. Callidora smiled at me. I was surprised of how sudden she changed her face expression. I smiled back at her. She had a sparkle in her eyes, her eye pupils getting bigger. Then she told me to follow her in her room, as she felt like we needed some privacy. We got to her room, locking the door behind her. Then she came close to me, now her mouth being next to my right ear.
-I love you, she wispered.
-I...I love you too!, I said, a bit shy.

She then kissed my lips softly, for 5 seconds. I kissed her back. She noticed I was a bit shy, so she then hugged me, saying whatever happens, she will always protect me. I felt a bit relieved as I heard those words coming out of her mouth. I closed my eyes for a moment. I wanted to enjoy the feeling. She felt so warm while I hugged her back. So alive. Then she said:
-Ady, I want to show you something.
-Ok, I replied.

She took me downstairs, in the basement. She showed me one of the walls, which had a collection of toys on it. Dolls, plushies, figurines...
Then she took one of the dolls, which had dark, short hair, a short, pink dress and her face was pale. When Callidora took the doll off the wall, the wall made a sound, opening from the middle. I was shocked. How did she manage to make a secret entrance from a normal wall? Either way, that wasn't what surprised me the most. The important thing was what really those walls were hiding, knowing that it was in the basement, where her mom probably never went. Callidora took my hand and guided my way inside the secret hallway. It wasn't so big, but it was enough to lose yourself in there if you didn't knew the way. She then took me to an old, massive wooden door. Callidora opened it, as we entered in a very big library:
-This is my secret library, she said.
-Why is it secret?, I asked confused.
-It is secret because in this library are all the secrets about my people, culture, traditions and legends. I wanted to show you this book, she said, handing me a book called "Soul-mate".

I looked at it nervous. I didn't know what she really wanted to do with it, but it probably was about the curse. As I start to read the book, she goes to the shelves, searching for books. First line...

Quote:
"

A soul-mate is a person your heart chooses to love until your last moment."
End quote.

I was reading the book, until I got to a line that said...

Quote:
"

If two people loved eachother in their past lives, they will find eachother again in their next lives. People who love are the strongest, but the weakest in the same time, depending on situation. To have a soul-mate you need to kiss the person you love at night under a full moon. Then, your souls will either both die, and start a new bond, or you will realise they are your past life's soul-mate."
End quote.

I was confused for a moment, then I realised the real purpose of her giving me THIS book out of all of the books from the library. I still wasn't sure, but I thought she might want me to be her "soul-mate". So I went to her, confused. I asked her:
-Callidora, do you like me?
-What do you mean "like"?, she asked, concerned.
-I mean...in the...you know..."soul-mate", I replied, more nervous than ever.
-Oooh, well, I do, to be honest!

Then she asked:
-But, do you like me aswell?
-Y-yes I...I do!, I responded to her, shy.

She began to blush, looking down, smiling. Then she looked at me, telling me to follow her outside. For a moment I felt like she was so innocent there was no way she could ever hurt anyone, then I remembered how Dany's dead body looked, and I woke up to reality. She wasn't how she seemed. She was a monster. But she somehow managed to get close to me...to make me feel attached:
-I will follow you if you tell me why, I said, serious.
Her facial expression changed, like I said the worst thing ever. Her lips began to shake, as her eyes were forming tears. She was scared. I could feel her fear from her eyes. I asked her if I said anything wrong, not knowing what a painful truth she will tell me.

To be continued...

Hello everyone, hoped you enjoyed this week's chapter. Sorry I always let you with questions left, but I hope to finish my other book, called "Distant relationship". It's not as good as this one, but as I changed my way of writing since then, maybe it will transform into something good. However, I find it very important, because it was the first "real-life event" based book I ever wrote. Sorry for keeping everyone here for all this boring stuff haha.
With all this things said, hope you guys liked today's chapter. Enjoy!
