Chapter 10 - Getting To Know You

Dipper
Mabel and Pacifica went off somewhere idk where. They always did get along with one another. I was alone in the house with Bill.

We were watching TV, we say close to each other but, my hand was on the soft while Bill was also but, we made sure it wasn't touching each other.

"Since we are here alone, Dipper, what is your favorite thing to read?" Bill wonders. I look at him with a confused look and sighed.

"Well, depends on the books. I remember having these three journals. I don't remember much but I tried collecting them, and finding the author of them. I can't remember haha" I smiled at him. "Tell me about you a little then. What colors do you normally wear Bill?"

"Me? Hmm, well yellow and black of course! They fit me a lot. Plus, Mabel designs some of my clothes like that!" Bill tells me with a smile. I didn't know that Mabel made clothing... "How about you Dipper? Any clothes or like nicknames?"

"My clothing is pretty plain as well, Mabel is the only one who will wear different clothing, having one special one for each day. Nickname wise, I remember one that makes me so angry but happy."

"What's the nickname?"

"PineTree. I can't remember who gave me that name, or even who they are. All I know is that, the name makes me smile."

"Would you be fine if I called you that then?"

"Eh?"

Bill
"Eh?" Dipper wonders. We're facing each other now. Without him noticing, I'm slipping my hands closer and closer to his.

The nickname I have him, PineTree, makes him smile... good thing Mabel isn't here, or else she would call us simps.

"Can I call you that?" I asked again. I watch his face, he looks confused. Lost in thought then starts  blushing hard which makes me laugh.

"D-don't laugh at me! A-anyways! You can call me by that if you want. Mabel already calls me by that name sometimes!" He looks away and pouts. Makes me laugh a little more.

Then finally, our hands are touching. I reach out for Dipper's hand, gripping lightly onto them. He slowly starts to grip my hands, I could tell he was hesitating.

"PineTree, let's get to know each other until we can't. I look forward for these upcoming months." I slowly slide next to Dipper, resting my head on his shoulder. I felt him jump a little from shock.

"Mhm, can't wait too Bill." I feel Dipper's head on mine, I smiled a little as I face the TV, I truly do love, Dipper Pines

Mabel
I wanted for those two to be by themselves for the afternoon while Pacifica and I get the rest of her things.

"I didn't know you learned how to drive." Pacifica points out.

"Yeah haha, I thought would be better to learn how to and get an license. It comes in handy for times like this. " I explained.

"Hmm, so does that mean Dipper also has his?"

"Dipper? Yeah he does, but he hardly drives anywhere but, it's for emergency for him to also have it."

"Hmm maybe I should get mine." Pacifica looks out the window, lost in thought. I smiled a little as we enter through Gravity Falls.

Pacifica lives in a medium size house, not as big as it used to be. Her parents wants to rebuild a new one but, not until she lives by herself.

"Mabel, have you seen your friends yet?" Pacifica suddenly say. I jumped a little on this question but sighed a little.

"I.... I haven't told them I'm back yet. I'm just waiting to settle in, and get the things we need. We've been so busy so I haven't found the chance yet. "

"Oh really? I would've thought you told them by now."

"Hmm, I don't know, we haven't talked since the last time I was back, it's gonna be weird but welcoming to be back here."

"I mean, you never know their response until you meet up with them." I smiled a little, it really shows that she really has changed over the years.

"Yeah your right. Pacifica you really have changed you know? I thought I never see the day you change." I tell her. "But people can change."

"People can change. They change once they find the right people."

"People change, they change into many different things. They either find the right ones, and walk on the right path or the wrong one. But, the one you feel like you can do anything, is the right path."

And there was the awkward silence....

"Mabel, what's your future plan?" Pacifica wonders.

"Hmm? A dress designer. I've always loved changing up my style and styling others! How about you?" I asked her.

"I'm thinking about being a jewelers. I'm thinking about opening my own shop, and giving others my opinion on things! " We both smiled at each other.

I truly wonder, if this is love? Do I love Pacifica? Have I fallen for her?
