B.2 Chapter 3 - Jealous/Theory

I sighed as I warmed up by a fireplace Bill put in. Bill sat right next to me, while Mabel and Wendy were in the kitchen. We were wrapped up into a fuzzy blanket of mine that Mabel luckily brought along.

"So you guys fell into the lake, and stayed in the water to splash each other?" Mabel asks us. We both smiled and chuckled.

"Yeah basically." We both tell her.

"Bill, why don't you help? Since you guys are the ones who fell. I'll get more wood into the fire."  Wendy wonders.

"Why me?"

"To get your butt up and body moving." The girls said. I laugh a little as Bill sighs and gets up.

"I'm leaving my love. I have to help your annoying sister."

"How dare you call her annoying! Just leave already. You disgust me."  We both laugh. I watch him enter the kitchen then laughter came out of the kitchen.

"Mabel probably copying the both go you of what just happened." She smiles at me, and I smiled back. 

"Probably." I sighed and covered myself with the blanket some more. 

"Now now don't be jealous of Mabel. "She teases me. I started to feel myself blush.

"I-I'm not!" I tell her. It wasn't even what I was thinking about.

"Now now, don't be shy about it. Bill wants to come back to make sure I'm not stealing you. He knows that you used to have a crush on me."

"I-I... Wendy shut up!" I shout at her. She begins to laugh and run into the kitchen.

"Bill control your boyfriend. He's being a bully!" I hear in the kitchen.

"Your the one who's being a bully!" I shouted back. I sighed and see that Bill pokes his head out of the kitchen.

"Hey PineTree! Need my cuddles?" I pout and nod my head. I hear him laugh and walks over to me. He hugs me close and smiles. I calm down, onto his embrace, I fall asleep into his arms.

When I woke up, I was still in Bill's arms. I hear them laugh, the tv was on, and I could still feel the fire. I could feel a blanket, a warm one, that was different from earlier.

"Oh, Dipper, are you up?" I hear Mabel wondered.

". . . Maybe. What time is it? How long did I sleep for?" I rub my eyes. I hear them chuckled a little.

"You are asleep for 3 hours. I guess playing in the snow worn you out. Sorry about that love." Bill smiles at me. I sighed and smiled. I shake my head.

"No. I had fun, I'm glad I did."

"We had a long drive too, he didn't get much sleep. So thanks for worn him out Bill!" Mabel smiles at us. I hear Bill chuckle and smiled at Mabel back.

"Well, your welcome princess!" We all sorta froze when he said "Princess"

"Okay. Bill don't ever call me that again. We're just friends... I hope. If you do call me that again, I will throw myself off a cliff."

"Hahaha!" Wendy bursts out laughing, I sighed and laughed along.

"At least we know that Mabel is loyal to you guys!"

"Man, getting rejected by one twin feels like I got rejected by both twins." Bill sighs. I smiled and hit his shoulder.

"That's my rejection to you!" I pout and got out of his embrace.

"Oof, that must suck!"

"Got rejected by the twins. That's quite sad." Wendy and the others begin to laugh. I sighed and smiled as I hear them all laugh.

It's been while since I get to hear them laugh so peacefully. It's nice to hang around them after a few months being apart.

"Say, you guys want to hear a theory?" Wendy suddenly asks us.

"A theory? You normally don't have theories, are you the new Dipper?" Mabel wonders. Wendy chuckles and shakes her head.

"No no, you know this theory too but, I heard Stan and Ford talking about it. More like Ford."

"What's the theory?"

"The theory is, that there is another universe just like ours! But it's very different because-"

"Because they are the opposite of us. Even Bill is different there, right?"

"Yup, why don't you finish for us Mabel?" Mabel nods her head, turns off the tv and faces all of us.

"It's another universe very different than ours. It's the opposite. I don't know much about it but I heard of it from Stan and Ford as well. But we don't know if it is real."

"What if it is?" I ask her. She gives me sad smiles and shrugs a little.

"I think they want to see what's over. To see how different they are over there."

"But how will they get over there?" I ask them.

"I might be the key. Remembered when I was near a connection to another world?"

I nod my head, it was a few summers ago when Mabel was close to one, and ended up getting pulled. She was teleports to a room filled with other Mabel's.

"Well, they think I might be able to get to meet the Mabel over there..." I sighed as I hear this.

"But for now, I'll let them do them. I won't do anything rash or help them. But they are out of town so it's not like I can even help them."
